Word to what you said about how they both take turns to come down or up to each other's levels.....Adi Imlie ke saath woh carefree baccha ban jaata hai that he maybe never allowed himself to be all his life and it's now coming out after years of suppression.....lol while Imlie shows the maturity and thehraav beyond her years when she needs to talk to him on that level too....dono ek dusre ke liye bacche bhi hain, phir bade bhi ban jaate hain.....a true depiction of being yin and yang to each other.....two halves of one whole.

WORD. And this is what I find so touching about them too. Adi steps out of his bubble to do things FOR Imlie, WITH Imlie even without her asking anything from him. It's such a beautiful depiction of saath/togetherness....willingly doing something for someone, being with them without any sense of obligation.

Sometimes even in love, people feel obligated to do things they don't like....but in Adi's case, his love for Imlie doesn't make him do things out of obligation...it's like he feels this need to just be a part of everything that is important to her, that makes her happy....like whatever makes her happy, now automatically makes him happy too....and it's as simple as that.

And then yes, the extra poignance of Imlie never asking for anything of him and still getting this happiness....it just warms your heart :)

Zayada durr jaane ki bhi toh zaroorat hai bhi nahi adi was made to do thing caz of this very reason he thought he was in love so he was forced to do them and he never enjoyed them doing them out of obligation in bezaari.. and it always showed in his body language.. it was never genuine

But now he has started to enjoy them caz imlie doesn't force him to do any of that she is like marzi hai toh karo nahi toh nahi I will do what I feel like and then he automatically gives in to try the things because he is given that choice .. and he doesn't feel suffocated and pushed to do things. I mean yeh rang lagana hi dekh lo in comparison to his lack of will power with the forced sindoor/ rang lagao zabaradasti.. sure it elevated caz didi involved sindoor but agar normal rang bhi hota the way she was commanding ke abhi ke abhi lagao how is that possible to.do something in impulse.. tyohaar ko bhi routine se manao and jab tak mere ko queen nahin feel karao ge along choti se khushi bhi nahi paaoge vibe yeah that gets really irritating.. sometimes people just want to do things at their own pace..and the ones around them drag them down.. shayad aise hi impulse main Dunia daari ke oiye laga deta malini ko bhi rang had she not driven him to.the edge ke lagao lagao sabkw saath matoab he barely stepped in joined the family for the festival and maangein started lol.

And then in the process he enjoys most things.. ab yeh singing hi lelo that day he was like what but ab it is.coming soo in flow jaise hamesha se singer hi tha he has learned how it takes stress away they were singing lame lines making them on the spot and joining kuch ka kuch but the process of making that song candidly was so worth it it was enjoyable so he kept going naya tha instead of same old repeat and rinse

LOL haan we all got preoccupied focusing on the happy bits of the epi instead.....but yeah it was a pleasant surprise that Prakash ki bakwaas didn't linger in Imlie's head for that moment and she followed her instinct/heart to respond to Adi.

Bottom line is ki yeh apni marzi se jaayegi Adi ke saath jab bhi jaana hoga and won't let anyone else define their relationship.....I hope that aspect is maintained aage bhi cuz it sets her apart for now rather than succumbing to dusron ke manipulations aise hi.

Even what she said to Adi yesterday was about the fact that she doesn't want their relationship to become a curse for someone else (Malini)....but at no point is she calling their OWN relationship wrong....and that is consistent with how she thinks.

@bold: +1....and since you mentioned ki sindoor ka rang use karke uski importance badhaane ki koshish.....I'm again circling back to Imlie ki line about how something has importance when you have faith in it, otherwise it's just an object. For Adi, that sindoor doesn't have any real meaning/significance unless it's connected to Imlie.....otherwise it's just another color for him jo woh Malini ke order pe lagaa bhi deta usko. The rituals of marriage for him have found meaning only with Imlie....otherwise he is detached from all this stuff.

Isiliye even if he didn't put sindoor wala laal rang on Imlie, that red color that he put on her had more significance than any official sindoor rang being put on Malini could have.....usmein FAITH hone se woh sindoor banta hai, sacred banta hai.....otherwise it's just red color....how can you even tell the difference? Simply by what bottle it's in? 😆

Also totally agree that it's nice that isn't the typical case of ML being cut off from his family or estranged from them.....bas ek distance and lack of communication/understanding hai....which Imlie will bridge since Adi has opened up to her only.

I guess part of the reason is nobody actually thinks he is cut off from.the family in the general term too they all think he is reserved and that is part of his mature patrakar image. He doesn't like to show emotions that is the general vibe otherwise his parents and all sunao him with full haq galti ho ya na ho.. they pamper him too ke adi ki marzi ke khilaaf koi kuch nahi kar sakta way main not ke oh we are scared of him as such ..but kabhi itna general level pe nahi ata like other places ke hero has dukhi story toh sab uski bechargi pe bhaith ke maatam manao... and uske bad behavior bhi justify karo

Imlie also don't feel along with adi ke aisa kuch emotional gap hai so in flow they are loosening him bridging that too not only with family but basically all other humans.. he never had emotional issues with either of them as such it was more a behavioristic thing ke he is a loner so ab he is ready to actually enjoying making more bonds and be more like a usual tripathi..😆 full of heart and full of positivity ek dum unfiltered when he finds people who are on same wavelength.. it is kinda endearing to see how the general vibe of adi is still aligned wih the whole family.. yeh bhi kitna rare hai ke in the process of him opening up one can see how alike he is too his family khoon ka Asar something they usually never try to show in other shows ka let's reconnect tamashe.. woh core qualities and similarities pe kabhi dhyan nahi hota yahan his instincts are very much like them and one can truly see he has concealed them never erased the basic tripathi out of him hahah

How tragic too in a sense na that he doesn't feel he can be himself at all apne hi ghar aake? And I guess kisi post mein someone already mentioned but I'll add it here also.....the reason why it doesn't feel like "deceit" even if they are not revealing the truth is cuz inke mann itne saaf hain ki last minute tak doorstep pe khushi khushi gaane gaa rahe the like kisi baat ka darr nahin ki they will be viewed as "galat" since everyone doesn't know the truth of their relationship yet😆.....woh jo ek saaf dil bacchon waali khushi hoti hai na ki hum toh bas khushi mein khel rahe hain, woh thi in dono mein😆......it all played out so naturally cuz it's not like they deliberately tried to hide their closeness when the door opened....they were being playful, Imlie ke dhakke se Adi backed into the door, it opened and it instantly transitioned into the family welcome.....koi feeling hi nahin aayi ki kuch galat ya chhupaane waali baat thi.

Woh mahaan hasti main hi thi🤣 but yup wohi baat hai na ke harmless holi hi toh hai ab isme kya chuppana and guilt trip hona ke thode se rang laga diye and masti kar li.. jab dil saaf gon toh why feel guilty over harmless things😆

Adi ka need to put on a face is sad but I guess and I might be overthinking it kinda also comes from nishant abandoning the family and adi needing to step up more as a result and being more responsible bhi aata hai where he made the image so much ke share karna bhool gaya apna actual feelings.. . Aparna did mention in one of the scenes ke adi hamesha se aisa nahi tha.. I Don't know in which scene but I remember her saying that.. plz people help if you can direct us to it.. but it works in that context that then he felt he is more burdened acha beta banana hai. Disappoint nahi karna and shut himself up emotionally and in order to protect the family he didn't realize when he became so distant to them

LOL... Roger that... I meant to say “cunning” not in a cunning way but as in so very smart and who knows how to turn words to achieve his objectives, not in a way that will cause harm but let’s just say for greater good. Last night I could not find the right word. I like to see FL who are strong but I do like ML who can match them in words and actions so they balance it out. ITV has always been women centric but seeing an ML who is as much at the center of the actions as the FL just make it all the more interesting and Aditya is totally that. (Else ML main role only comes at the end when they are revealing the drama😆)

I still cannot get over his line of when he asked her that does she feel anything for him where there was a hint of insecurity, expectation, fear all mixed together in his voice. But when she refused, he just turn around, almost shrugged and said that he feels and that should enough. It was so refreshing to see that we did not get an ML who just gave up, turned around and walked away with tears in his eyes. We have an ML who knows that she feels for him and at that moment it was not important to give importance to his feelings, ego or pride but more important to get her back home. I do not want to call it selfish too but though there were selfish motives, he was doing it for himself, his family and Imlie too because he knows she will more happy with his family then at the hostel. 😊

I know the makers in general will keep trying to prop up Malini as mahaan but incidents like this will start to ultimately taint her in Adi's and baaki logon ki eyes as well I think.....the guilt of hiding the truth ek taraf but Malini was being openly unfair to Imlie there for no fault of hers....I think it will register on Adi at some point....or well, I HOPE it does....lol would make for something more interesting than the daily guilt trip towards Malini.

I have been thinking about this and it just struck me that Malini has always been like that. We call Aditya selfish but she is way more than him and not in a good way. Hers is more like, if I am not happy no one else has the right to be happy. Hence when Aditya left, she created an environment where everybody was sad and in a worried state. Yesterday, also in the Holi, there was no need for her to make everybody wait with her for Aditya making such a big deal about it. If she was really Mahaan and nice, she could have made it so that other enjoy and she waits for him or seeing that everyone festival is getting spoiled reached out to Aditya to informs him that we are waiting .He did say to her that how would he know that she is planning this where in the past he would have been all apologetic..

As you said he also has started noticing her not being very accommodating to the circumstances around her. Imlie tried to lighten the mood but she was having none of it, again her attitude was her festival is spoiled so everyone should be spoiled. Aditya is now going to notice these difference especially if it impacts Imlie as he is so protective about her and this would make him realize the incompatibility between them. Even though its not showing, his 7 year relationship is affecting him which come out yesterday and this understanding would go long way to help him accept it.. Yesterday in the vachan, imlie said that she should not be the reason for her dukh so once he starts noticing these things and realize that the Malini he thought is not actual Malini, he will again have to explain to Imlie that she is not the reason for the dukh. Thats one part of it...

The other would be like he said that nobody is happy and Imlie herself needs to realize it that one cannot force one self in a relationship. I want to go back to the bike convo where Aditya had told her that nobody thinks like you, this is going to come in play again. At that time Imlie was the outsider and Aditya had said things because he thought she might be coming between Malini and him. Imlie could not leave the marriage because of her beliefs but she still decided to step back and move away from their lives as that would mean happiness for everybody. Similarly here, Aditya would be the facilator again, he needs to be the one to show the mirror to Malini but Malini herself will need to decide what she wants to do. She is not Imlie so it might be not that easy for her so lets see how long it takes her to come to the point where she accept the truth. The reason I say Malini is because of the first vachan that Aditya cannot break the bond but he will definitely not let a injustice happen and especially not to Malini. So he will take steps to ensure that things are corrected.
