With all this singing, I wonder how they didn't hear Adi singing or his expression when they opened he door .

One more point yesterday - Imlie indirectly called Adi Malini relationship a shraap - no ?

She said any relationship that causes a massoom to struggle is one - and their marriage caused her pain and suffering - did it not. I wondered of the writers were conscious of this when they wrote this - or just my extrapolation!

i thought the same - the direction where imlie's coming in joyfully - to greet T family was brillinatly timed and executed - they got away with showing Adi as deliriously happy and falling on door till last minute with still no impact on T's.

Adi Imlie screen presence is so compelling - they are able to pull such scenes off

Just the carefree vibe done so right they were really like 2 innocent teenagers experiencing that joy of tyohaar together and why these festivals join people thing tyohaar ka jadoo woh sukoon overtaking every other feeling matlab this is their darwaza they can be spotted but because they don't have a hor in their Manns that reflected in their demeanor the loud singing.. the purity of this moment that affectionate vibe of it ...adi behaving as if uski life ki pehli holi hai using the colors till the last moment before when will be qaid again he will have to lock this person behind just thoda sa aur jee loom ek pal aur feeling

And aww that reminds me I really like how they used such an unusual holi song too I have never heard it before but it worked for the sequence

@bold: WORD on Adi savoring the moment for as long as he could....end tak colors lagaa raha tha Imlie pe like he wanted to bottle up every bit of this happiness that he could before the doors open and he will have to pull back to his stoic Adi mode.

How tragic too in a sense na that he doesn't feel he can be himself at all apne hi ghar aake? Imlie ko saath le aaya as if she is his only little slice of happiness in all this despair.....and Imlie can still be her mad, happy self without holding back even if she feels the weight of the secret too...cuz that's how she's always been....khushi ho ya gham, she finds a way to get through it with a smile being herself.....but for Adi right now, that burden of discovering who he actually is and still not being able to be that in front of his own family.....tragic hi toh hai.

And I guess kisi post mein someone already mentioned but I'll add it here also.....the reason why it doesn't feel like "deceit" even if they are not revealing the truth is cuz inke mann itne saaf hain ki last minute tak doorstep pe khushi khushi gaane gaa rahe the like kisi baat ka darr nahin ki they will be viewed as "galat" since everyone doesn't know the truth of their relationship yet😆.....woh jo ek saaf dil bacchon waali khushi hoti hai na ki hum toh bas khushi mein khel rahe hain, woh thi in dono mein😆......it all played out so naturally cuz it's not like they deliberately tried to hide their closeness when the door opened....they were being playful, Imlie ke dhakke se Adi backed into the door, it opened and it instantly transitioned into the family welcome.....koi feeling hi nahin aayi ki kuch galat ya chhupaane waali baat thi.

Waise I think Malini didi ne definitely note kar liya ki Adi Imlie ke saath Holi khel ke aaya hai and she did NOT look happy over that.....lol deffo felt like part of her relatively colder receiving of Imlie was for this reason. She realized ki jo Adi itne saalon mein kabhi Holi nahin khela, aaj Imlie ke saath Holi khel ke use ghar bhi waapis le aaya😆

Maybe the next epi might have some character questioning Adi for how he suddenly played Holi but for now focus seems to have shifted to Adi telling everyone ki Imlie ab nahin karegi ghar ka kaam😆.

I guess kar lega nishant ya koi aur question and they will show didi annkhein nikaal ke aur roti hui 😆 and AC being rude to adi abhi usko chance nahi laga tha in all didi ka drama woh moonh band karke thidi bhaithi reh sakti hai.. na kare toh acha hoga rofl at tripathis ke mood pe depend karta hai😆 kabhi kabhi they can ignore badi badi baateinnand kabhi kabhi they can get riled up at choti si baat

Lol didi ne toh sab notice kia and already created a scene too kismat ko bhi dosh de lia bastameezi bhi kar li imlie se and ab royal walk out bhi.. I guess ek tarah acha hi hai she showed her asliyat ab dikhati rahegi beech main...her token attempt at good younare back was extra fake afterwards jab yaad aaya ke achai ka mask slip kar gaya toh she tried again but it fell flat ... Imlie better open her eyes and see ke yeh koi iss kaabil nahin hai to love and respect.. but I guess adi hi will be the first to notice didi ki fakeness and will probably warn imlie but she is too deep in didi prem right now

The next one is also a battle but more of wishes against belief. Imlie knows what she feels but she will always put the brakes on as she knows that at this moment it’s not right.... unless she flows in the moment like she did just before they started playing colors. Ohh the angst in the first part... his, don’t make me say what you don’t want to hear and her immediate answer, ok then I will say what you don’t want to hear..... I think there is going to be lot of repeat of this... let see who is the more stubborn of the two 😆 How I love their back and forth and then the master stroke from Adi, if you are not coming then fine I will come... he knows the family and Malini are her weak points and she knows that he in his sanak will do it, so she had no choice but to give in but she was happy as she was going back to family.

@bold: This exactly😆. The problem for both of them also is the basic honesty in their equation....they try to ghumaao the baat from each other thoda bahut but woh basic honesty comes out in their responses to each other sooner or later and the feelings flow out😆.

Imlie ke liye definitely it's going to become more difficult cuz end of the day, she also wants to be with her Babusahib....so she is battling both apne dil ki awaaz as well as his for the sake of not hurting Malini. But she will have to realize in the long term ki Malini waise hi hurt hoti rahegi even if Imlie doesn't stay with Adi or doesn't stay in the house. It's definitely going to be a clash of wills between her and Adi and I hope it continues to be written interestingly as it has been so far.

Yesterday was just a trailer....Imlie didn't want to come back to the house but Adi showed up to be with her anyways....and even when they got back to the house, Malini still wasn't happy to get Adi back and instead started showing some harshness with Imlie too.....that moment stuck out to me in the scene when Malini held Imlie's hand to stop her from putting color on her....the way Adi was watching that visual also was quite interesting.....if I didn't know any better, I'd think that it's starting to dawn on Adi that Malini is going to hurt IMLIE going forward too.....and woh nahin bardaasht hoga Adi se.

I know the makers in general will keep trying to prop up Malini as mahaan but incidents like this will start to ultimately taint her in Adi's and baaki logon ki eyes as well I think.....the guilt of hiding the truth ek taraf but Malini was being openly unfair to Imlie there for no fault of hers....I think it will register on Adi at some point....or well, I HOPE it does....lol would make for something more interesting than the daily guilt trip towards Malini.

The conversation between BS and Imlie is the best, they don't hide anything from each other and just say what’s in their mind, expect Imliya who want to distance herself from BS. There is a lot we can learn as viewers from their interactions, the openness and how accepting they are of one another is beautiful and much needed in every relationship .

Also totally agree that it's nice that isn't the typical case of ML being cut off from his family or estranged from them.....bas ek distance and lack of communication/understanding hai....which Imlie will bridge since Adi has opened up to her only.
