the comparisons are inevitable given how malini has been sucking life out of trioathi novas and is becoming a bag of sand in their feet weighing them down every sec and imlie just breezes through every hardship and makes it easier to walk through their daily lives unlike malini as you said too jisne 2 din main sabko edge pe lake khada dia in terms of their patience no wonder they seemed so done aaj courtesy ke liye bhi bol.nahi paa rahe thay to side with her and wanted the drama to be over so they can focus back on imlie as I think loadstar pointed . Imlie is the spring while malini is winter. They are such opposites of the spectrum..one can deal with coldness only only much..

Word to all of this. Notice also how when the entire family came to receive Imlie, Madam stayed back in the hall with bottle of sindoor in her hand with zidd that Adi will come and fill her maang.😆 She doesn't bother associating herself with any family matters at all unless Adi is directly involved. Ts' are really courteous but I think they will lose their patience one day when she starts unraveling more. Another striking contrast between Imlie & Malini that I think will be highlighted more in the future is the fact that Malini has heightened the pre-existing divide between Adi and his family by making a spectacle of her relationship issues in public. Adi already has a bad rep in his family but she has tarnished it even more. Whereas Imlie will be bridging this divide.

One more thing that struck out to me today is how Imlie inspires GENUINE affection out of the Ts' too and not just Adi. They WANT to pamper her and lavish attention on her, and it all comes from a heartfelt and genuine place. Whereas for Malini, it seems like their regard for her comes from a place of obligation and guilt. Malini as you said is cold...and she struggles or is incapable of making other people her apna.

I am marvelling at the fact that so much has changed in a period of just 7 days in the show's timeline. It is just mind boggling and the CVs have executed the change brilliantly👏❤️.

How the equations have changed now....it is literally like zameen aasman ka farak has come in the show's storyline & characters.

The status of the 3 main characters equation before & after PD trip is as below

1. Malini & his rishta with her was priority for Adi consciously.

Now she is just an obligation/zimmedari for him of which he needs to absolve himself. Their khokla rishta does not matter to him.

2. Imlie was Adi's zimmedari consciously & his rishta with her was nakli.

Now Imlie is the love of his life without whom he cannot live & his rishta with her has the highest priority. It does not matter to him if it is illegal, forced or whatever. His love for Imlie is the biggest truth of his life & he wants to spend a lifetime with her as her husband fulfilling all the duties of a jeevansaathi.

The CVs have executed the flips in the equations so beautifully. Kudos to the team👏❤️.

I hope the CVs continue this streak of brilliance so that we can savour a good ITV show after quite sometime which works on multiple levels.

that was the same sindoor bottle that imlie gifted malini on her wedding day, ghum phir imlie ke pas wapis a gya uska pd wale mandir ka special sindoor. ❤️

rhi baat malini's sidoor obession, it was weird. I don't get this lady. 🤪

When nothing came out of it, crybaby was like kismet main nahi tha toh nahi mila & me nodding my head😆🤣.

seven days ago imlie used to get scare of babusahebs one look. Seven days later babusaheb is imlie ke isharon pe naach rahe hai 😂😂 her one slight nod made him go to Malini to apply sindoor

When Imlie say she don't have feelings for him we can see it really hurts him. 😳 So Imlie agrees to go back to Ts to Adi threat to come and live with her in hostel. What a chasing Adi has been doing 😂 from Pagdandiya to Delhi.

So Imlie likes Adi That smile on Adis face.☺️Holi seq was full on tashan mode small unique kidish with no OTT drama❤️😻

Such a cute reunion of Ts and Imlie. Ghar ki asli Bahu vapis agayi😆

Okay behenlogs. Sneaking a peek at comments hiding in my closet, one of the two places my kiddos know to leave mom alone. But putting in my quick 2 cents.

I was caught grinning like a fool for the first ten minutes until little ms. Attention ki bhookhi came along with what people have aptly described as cringeworthy drama. Yes she does make me feel for her once in a while kyunki that is what I do for a living but I don't like her by any means. You can't fix stupid 🤦‍♀️ haan haan pata hai aur bhi labels hain uske liye.

Love that there was no intoxication involved in today's conversation between Adilie. Gonna watch those three scenes on repeat (room, holi, door). Thankful that there is no panning to shocked faces with dramatic music on sindoor drama. Among other things that certainly sets this show apart.

The contrast between Aditya 's emotions when he brings home Malini and when he brings home Imlie. When Malini enters and greets family he looks lost, sick, a shell of a man. When Imlie greets his family the play emotions on his face as his little ray of sunshine lights up his house just like she has his life and soul. 🥰🥰🥰

Aditya played Holi today because Imlie loved the festival. Not because she asked him to. Not because she went on about first rang or first Holi. WORD. And this is what I find so touching about them too. Adi steps out of his bubble to do things FOR Imlie, WITH Imlie even without her asking anything from him. It's such a beautiful depiction of saath/togetherness....willingly doing something for someone, being with them without any sense of obligation.

Sometimes even in love, people feel obligated to do things they don't like....but in Adi's case, his love for Imlie doesn't make him do things out of obligation...it's like he feels this need to just be a part of everything that is important to her, that makes her happy....like whatever makes her happy, now automatically makes him happy too....and it's as simple as that.

And then yes, the extra poignance of Imlie never asking for anything of him and still getting this happiness....it just warms your heart :)

Haha I only caught a few words of it on first watch but I noticed Adi singing the "Babu bhi bheegega" bit itne mazey mein and I was like 🤣.....sach mein dono paglaa gaye hain....Imlie ne pura gaana ratvaa diya isko do minute mein and yeh bhi full josh se gaa raha tha about how yeh apni Imaliya ke saath bheegega😆

Bits like these are what set the show apart....no cliched bhaang sequence, no cliched rain sequence, no hormonal bits to show them suddenly hyperventilating in closeness.....lol they literally just goofed around in pure JOY. Kudos to the team for giving us such a hatke Holi for two leads👏
