TBH I feel like it also has to do with the fact that KV emotes it really well I think. For example I think that KRPKAB also emphasized Dev's pain really well and it was easy to get attached to his character but it's rare to see. Usually I feel like they just throw some sort of heartbreak to justify why the ML is an douche. But here the emotional depth is well captured and the moments don't feel artificial or forced when they show them. In another show it is absolutely possible that we would have seen him go off on her and then they would have just thrown this scene in to make us be like aww but he's broken. I think in this show they struck that balance really well where it doesn't feel like they are showing us his emotional vulnerability just to whitewash him or as a cop out of actual growth!

I agree.

ML with mother syndrome is like in every other show.

But it's how the character is written and actor conveys it that makes them stand apart from the rest.

Also, so far the story is not being tampered with till now.

Let's see what Apshagun Shagun brings to the show

Aashta is such an amazing character and I loved that she was so strong against all those Sabherwal men! I do see why Anokhi's first love will always be Aastha given everything that she has done for her and also how strong she is in her convictions. Shaurya/Aastha scenes have always been amazing and the impact that she has on him, despite his best intentions. Her one word was enough to have him questioning everything on that train ride back from Kapurthala and no matter what he says, he just cannot hold back the bitterness he feels around her. I really need her to come back and to see more scenes between this mother-son duo!

Omg ditto - engaged to someone i was friends with and had a crush on 10 years ago. Th Extra passion is good for TV and MBs and Romance novels - do not need a kabir singh in real life shoving me around then saying sorry and on and on.🤣
