Don know how many of you go in for the cheaper versions of the books but I do😳 When I can read three in the price of one, then no complaints even if the paper quality isnt great😛 But coming to the point, I had gone today to my roadside vendor to get some new picks as I had finished Angels & Demons yesterday... I picked up Da Vinci Code and Deception point to complete the Dan Brown lot😊 Although a small little lot of books he has, but this guy somehow always has books that interest me... I was tempted to take a Jeffrey Archer one that he very excitedly told me had arrived just today😊 But I left it for next time... So the best part - u know what, when it came to the payment, I asked him how much the two books cost.. And the little boy does what - he presses Da Vinci Code between his palms to gauge its thickness and says - 100 rupees...😳 Deception Point, the same way cost me 70 rupees😆😛

Even i do dat.. I mean if i can get more books, even if thier quality is not good or they are second hand whats the problem? I mean what difference does it make to me whether i read hard cover book or bad paper quality book!!😳

Haha! 😆 ...That is deffo a new way of pricing a book! 😆 😉

Here we just turn the book around, and the price is already printed on it by the publishers! 😳 😃 ...

Though this new was is sure interesting! 😆 😉 ...LOL

Dan Brown's books are just awesome! 😳 😃 ...

I brought the cheap roadside version of a number of book...But the bigger the book gets, the badder the version will be. I brought "Shantaram" from Roadside stall..Coz I had the option b/w Original which costs abt 600 or so and this roadside cheap version which cost 150 Considering its almost a 1000pgs long...Obviously I went with the latter...But I regret it ...Cheaper version means torn Pages, Half Printed pages n all... 😕 Thank Lord I brought it after reading the original once...Cant afford to miss even one line of the book!😳😃
I rbought buks like LOTR from Roadside stalls coz otherise it costs too much..Dad will die of Heart Attack if I even mention the cost of the originals!!!😆😉
But well I am hunting for a lot of buks and If I dont find the originals, definitely the pirated versions are the only alternative and If I want it dead badly, I will take it! 😳

Usually books are bought by my brothers, very rarely I go for purchasing books, I usually puchase them from book fairs. There we get 5% to 50% reduction based on the type of book.

Pg wodehouse i the only lucky guy whose book i have bought from shp: getting a 10% commission, in the past 18 months

i now borrow library books and is always searching for e books😉

Even i dunt mind going 4 cheaper books bec dat means i can get many more i want.. However here if u want like really good new realese u have 2 purchase dem at high prices.. So i tend 2 read dem wen they get a bit old EXCEPT harry potter.. Dat i need on the 1st day..😆

But yeah usually i go 2 flee market wid my dad every sunday 2 buy like loadx of books at really cheap prices like 30 ruppees Pakistani dat is! 😃 Dat makes my day!
