Diwali Releases II: 'Garam Masala' Leads

The results are out!

GARAM MASALA has stolen the march over SHAADI NO. 1 and KYON KI… While GARAM MASALA is leading at every centre [the collections are extra-ordinary everywhere], the business of both SHAADI NO. 1 and KYON KI… got a boost on Friday [Idd]. The overall business is expected to be upbeat till Sunday since the holiday mood continues till that day.

Of course, the real test will begin from Monday…

Everyone's curious to know how the Diwali releases are faring and though the offices have been shut due to the holiday period, we have managed to collect the data of a few centres.

It would be ridiculous to pen a midweek box-office report next Thursday [November 10] when the three Diwali releases have opened exactly a week earlier [on Wednesday, November 2]. Hence, the second instalment of our 'Biz Talk' within four days of Diwali releases.
