Why Bapuji said " kavya and Nandini are not in close relation""

They are real Maasi niece..so its a close relation.

May be Nandini's mom is not Kavya's real sister. They can be dur ke cousins also. In that case there does not form any other relation between Samar and Nandini as they do not have blood relation.

And bapuji is right they don't have any close relation.

Like others have said, Kavya may not be Nandini's mom's own sister... they may be half-sisters or cousins.

And even if they are own sisters honestly I don't see why that's such a problem... SaNan have no blood relation whatsoever, neither were they raised together, so what's the big deal?

I think both Baa and her laadla Vee are making excuses to object because they both seriously look down on Kavya and her family
