In that point i agree with you too. But one thing he said good was there should be different channels for different people of different lifestyle. If a villager ignores modern content than how we expect urbans to watch regressive content. Thus i said once a day every gec network should think about premium and youth audience too. They are only catering one part of audience which is freaking partiality. Star, Zee, Sony, Viacom all should bring new channels that caters the audience whom they had completely lost. Over the years these channels had focussed more in catering the poor and rural audience thus now when they are making piece of good content too, its ignored or not recognized. Seperate channels could make this easier. Like i said Starplus for rural and semi urban, another two channels for youth and premium audience.
You know i feel weekly and bi weekly shows will work really well irrespective of genre and budget if they are made in larger amount with an episode limit of 25-31. Like you see Rudrakaal has only 26 episodes but it will keep us engaged for the next 6 months can you imagine. Our interest towards the show will increase more and more. Thus i keep saying that our format should be like korean and pak tv channels were they focus on series format the most but do not sideline daily soaps too.
Neon not only urban audience even rural audience also deserve good content....matlb yeh jo abhi rural audience ke naampe jo paros rahe hai sabko usko toh rural audience bhi deserve nhi karti.....unko bhi dhire dhire karke seasonal format se introduce karana padega warna kab tak woh bhi yeh mindless entertainment sirf timepaas ke liye dekhte rahenge
But channels ki bhi category honi chahiye like you said there should be premium channel for urban audience also they should not ignore youth audience
