Maybe they imagined as when they see couple on a cycle they think all that even that throwing water on each other mukhi sees a couple on cycle then imagines it I guess 🤔

I don't think imagination thha........ Because Purvi was smiling and touching her chin jahan Virendra ne wo gola khate waqt pocha thha........ Imagination hota toh woh smile na karti.........

One more thing, both remembered the flashbacks after seeing couples on cycle...... Usually when see something similar, we remember memories......... Sometimes we imagine too, but most of the times it's old memories cropping up.......

Towards the end when pur is,sitting in the car to go to college she sees a couple on a cycle then they show a scene where purvir are on the cycle and pur wants to have chuski so she gets off n she's enjoying chuski n mukhi looking at her smiling then she makes him have it too n he wipes her chin 😍

Haan flashback effect nahin thha....... But context flashback wala hi thha na....... Dono ne cycle pe kisi couple ko dekha aur unhe apne cycle waale time ki yaad aa gayi.........

And that previous room scene when Virendra was seeing Purvi everywhere, I don't think it was hallucination or imagination....... It was old memories haunting him at that time........ Because he got so used to her presence and his absence was eating away at him......... Even though he was angry at her at that time, still he had become so habituated with her presence that he was extremely bothered.......

In Virendra's own words from today's episode -
