Relative of mine also suffered from loss of taste and smell for a long time... He is around 60 years old.. got admitted for almost 2 months.... Due to loss of appetite and swallowing problems he had only kanji, juice for almost 5 months.. spoke to him 2 days back.. after almost 8 months now only he is having some solid food, seems like his sense of smell and taste also returned..

Don't lose hope... Make an effort to eat healthy foods and drink only lukewarm water... Appapo 2 or 3 pepper vaila pottu mellunga.. take care
