Oh I read it. It's sexist as can be. But sexism is sadly more common than decorating with monkey farts. 😆

Big question for all these stars, sports figures and businessmen who insist on getting married to actresses and then making them non actresses. Is it trophy hunting because otherwise what's the point of marrying someone and insisting they change their entire career when that was probably the big lure in the first place?

First part, exactly what you said, IMO. The rest of this interview is so bizarre that it overshadows his blatant misogyny. I might have missed it but when was this interview conducted? Back in the day being openly misogynistic wasn’t frowned up. Heck, it was probably expected and understood, and even admired by some 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Second part, pretty much. Also ego specially if that actress is famous, or very pretty, both of which apply to Madhubala. I’m also assuming her love for the other big famous actor, Dilip Kumar, was common knowledge. So I’m sure it did Kishore Kumar’s ego a lot of good that he got Dilip Kumar’s girl. But ultimately a male chauvinistic pig is a male chauvinistic pig. Rajesh Khanna was a generation after Kishore Kumar (or maybe half generation) and I remember reading one of his old interviews where he said he absolutely could not and would not stand for his wife working.

Look, I don't smoke, drink or socialize. I never go to parties. If that makes me a loner, fine. I am happy this way. I go to work and I come back straight home. To watch my horror movies, play with my spooks, talk to my trees, sing. In this avaricious world, every creative person is bound to be lonely. How can you deny me that right?

Times have evolved from then to now ... but forget KK, we still have plenty of men who think that way. 🤔

Most of it is lies

He married madhubala to get famous

He got many movie offers and even singing because hes madhubala husband

He never took care of her in ill health or after wedding

She stayed in her fathers house nursed by her sister after marriage to himm (read her sisters interview)

He's a very narcissist human who used his brother, madhubala, first wife etc to go up in life

OK he had talent but whats talent if do not have ladders to climb up

and hes acting in interview as if everyone forced him or are bad only hes good instaed of being thankful to them be it brother or wives or madhubala etc
