Setting the stage for Ritesh aka Mr. Mystery Sawant?

Okay, so here's the deal:

- A huge chunk of Rakhi's rants this season so far has revolved around her husband. She has always emphasized that "woh duniya ke samne nahee ayega."

- She "fell in love" with Abhinav (apparently thats entertainment 🤢) and said some truly off-color shit. Jo bhi ho, it was deplorable no matter how you feel about Rubinav, no one should be repeatedly harassed the way Abhinav was. Rakhi always made sure to say stuff like "my own marriage never worked out, but I see how he is with Rubina and I want that."

- Now that Salman has put a stop to the Abhinav saga, Rakhi is feeling lost. She's starved for attention and has been given an extra pressure to do stuff due to all the Weekend appreciation for being entertaining.

- Her main confidante in the house, Vikas Gupta, is now out. She's in need of support.

- Manu Punjabi (who seems pretty confident about his info, and was even on the show this season and was also apparently asked to be Eijaz's proxy first) has been hinting nonstop that both Ritesh as well as Disha Parmar are slotted to make short entries into the house.

- Last year, after the extension, they created a Connections week to keep interest going in the last month before finale season arrived. They might want to do something similar as its important for the show to build strongly towards a big finish. Because of Covid, it might be impossible to do a proper visit, but some socially distant thing might be in the plans.

- Look at how they cut the promo today - all signs point to bechari Rakhi needing a saviour.

To me, all these are pretty substantial points to consider but the main convincing factor is actually the edit itself. I'm sure the contestants talk about everything under the sun since they are trapped there for months with nothing to do all day. But we never heard much about things outside the game except a few instances (like Rahul's proposal, Vikas/Arshi drama, etc.). For example, we never learned much about Rubina/Nikki's conversations that led to their new seemingly strong friendship, or Devoleena's dog (who Rashmi said recently is all Devo talks about all day), or Arshi's family (who Eijaz etc. knew all about from her chats even though we didn't). This makes total sense. They have limited number of minutes to show and why would they confuse the audience with unnecessary outside characters. But they do seem to want to keep Ritesh in the audience's mind. So the question is - why is BB making sure to keep all this Ritesh talk in the edit? Are they building towards something in the final week? Thoughts?

Main question is does a Mr Ritesh actually exist?? It's seems so fictional coz no man in his senses esp a well established NRI will do a chup chup ke shaadi & disappear.

She says noone in the family know where he is but he's taking care of her family. Sab golmaal lagta hai

Oh - another thing:

During Rakhi's video chat with her mom they made sure to include the fact that Ritesh is taking care of her treatment....

Everything seem scripted and fake about ritesh. She said ritesh disappeared and she doesnt know where he is & also said ritesh nahi aaega. but her mom said in video call, ritesh taking care of her so whats the truth? I doubt audience interested to know about ritesh and rakhi drama but bb want to create a story abt her and show us anyway

I don't think so ki Ritesh agar exist bhi karta hain toh woh BB ke ghar mein aayega. Rakhi ne baar baar yahi kahan hain ke ussne Rakhi ko kabhi pic bhi post nahi karne di. Agar koi bada businessman hoga toh sacchi main BB jaise show main kyon apna appearance dega? Woh bhi Rakhi ne Abhinav ke saath itnay saare tamashe karne ke baad.

Since no one really saw or met Ritesh, its easy to bring any Ritesh!!!

But he has to accept her as wife in front of the world in BB house :)

There IS NO Riteish.

She had already confessed to this while chatting with Vikas in the Moj room.

“Woh hai hi nahin,” she said to him, when he was lecturing her on Abhinav’s love topic.
