Basically look for a girl coming from a humble background who can be mistreated, dismissed and made to sit in the corner when convienent.

To be honest, that is how hypocrisy works for Indian mothers of sons.

Think about it, even in Anupamaa's case, she knows on some level that Paritosh is not good enough for Kinjal, but she did push for their alliance.

Why was it? Simply because she knew she cannot get a better DIL than Kinjal (in terms of virtue, not money). But taunting is sad...

Anupama probably for once supported KinTosh marriage was because both of them were interested in marrying one another unlike Samar and Nandini...

But baa is the limit of hypocrisy. I would like to believe if Toshu mistreats Kinjal or does what Vanraj did.. Anu wouldn't support Toshu like baa supports Vanraj.

It's not just Baa but many hv that mentality it's fine if husband has an affair till the time he is coming bk to his family wife shd just accept it. Many women keep quite knowing what's happening fearing society, what her family or children will hv to listen as it's always a women fault that she has not been able to fulfil needs of her husband.
