Liking the story. Would really want to know what was the final trigger behind Sai leaving Virat. Also if possible could you give a small glimpse about Virat's pov on these turn of events.

Thank you. You'll heart Sai's part of the story soon. I'll try and add Virat's POV. Unsure how to proceed with his character. Today's round up was pretty cute.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the delay! Life got in the way. As usual, let me know what you think. I've tweaked the story a bit to show Sai's POV. Hope you like it.
Part 6
They spent the rest of the day visiting old hangouts. Sai and Aniket met in college. The outing brought back memories for Sai, both good and bad.
Before dying, Kamal Joshi entrusted Sai's responsibility to Virat. When he proposed marriage, Sai declined. She wanted to study and fulfill her aabaâs dreams but the elders were having none of it and got the two of them married.
On their wedding night, Sai sat on the bed all decked up. After what seemed like ages, Virat entered the room. Not knowing what to expect, Sai peeked through her eyelashes. A few months ago, when her friend revealed she had a boyfriend, Sai simply listened. She too longed for someone to hold her hand and to take her on dates. She felt the mattress dip next to her. âSai mujhe pata hai tumhe mujhse kuch expections hogi par main apna dil kisi aur ko de chuka hoon,â he spoke. She could feel the pain in his voice. âIska matlab yeh nahi ki main Kamal sir se kiya hua vaada nahi nibhaunga. Tumhare sapne ko pura karne mein tumhari puri madad karunga.â Virat looked at her for a response. âThank you, Virat Sir,â she finally said.
That night Virat kept tossing and turning. Not wanting to disturb Sai, he went out to the balcony. Pakhi wiped her tears when she saw him. âPakhi woh mainâŚâ Virat started to speak when she held her hand up. âYehi tha tumhara vaada Virat,â she mocked. Virat put his hands on her shoulder. âEk vaada maine Kamal sir se bhi kiya tha. Ab tum hi batao main kya karta,â he asked. Pakhi removed his hands and walked away. She had only crossed the doorway when she came face to face with Sai.
What she saw shook Sai to the core. She walked back to the room and pretended to sleep. The next couple of days were spent in post wedding rituals. Although the Chavans didnât approve of her, they knew tongues would wag if damage control wasnât done. When Saiâs results were announced, Bhavani kaku opposed her further studies. She believed Sai was being selfish and putting herself before the family. Sai couldnât believe a family who was supposedly educated would have such a regressive mentality. Bhavani only relented when Virat promised her Sai would complete her chores before college. Everday Sai would wake up earlier than everyone, assist Ashwini in the kitchen then leave for college. Most days she was late but her professors understood. Once home, she would help make dinner before retiring to her room to study till late. Most days she skipped dinner as dinner in the Chavan family was almost always served with a side of taunts. While Virat tried to keep the peace, he was torn between his family and his responsibility.
With all that went on at home, college was Saiâs only escape. She struggled to make friends. When she was invited to parties, she declined as she knew the Chavans wouldnât allow her. Eventually they stopped asking her. Her college had organised a freshers fair which Sai was excited for. As it was in the day, She didnât need permission. Virat was all set to join her until Pakhi asked him to accompany her to Samrat's office. Sai decided to stay home but Ashwini and Shivani convinced her to go and have a good time.
