you are dead for us… Kkusum says that what tpe of a joke is this, I'm here after such a long time and you are treating me like this… Arundati says that you are very stubborn, after all that had happened you still came back… Kkusum asks what she has done… she says that she knows that she was wrong when she took Abhay with her without telling anybody but she took him to get his treatment done… sarla says that only because of her, she lost her son… Kkusum is shocked… Kali says that Abhay himself broke all the relations with KKusum after doing her sharad… KKusum is not ready to believe this; she says that Abhay cannot do anything like that to her… Kkusum says that this is true and she shows her picture with a garland there… She says that she cannot even tolerate her picture with her papa let alone allow her in this house… Kkusum goes to Nitin and asks him if he thinks his Kkusum can do anything like this… Nitin is sad but walks away… Kkusum asks Lalit to explain to everyone… Before Lali could speak, Nitika asks Kkusum to stop her drama… She asks Kumud to remind Kkusum what she had done… Kumud says what should she remind her… Should she remind her that she made Abhay mad on purpose, or should she remind her that she gave Abhay medicines to make him mad… Kkusum is shocked and asks who told her all that… kumud then shows her the video where Kkusum is giving an injection to Abhay… Sarla asks her why she did that… Kkusum says that she only did that to get Abhay's punishment reduced from the court during Kshitij's murder trial… Kkusum then asks them how they got the tape and then remembers that Abhinav asked her to do this recording… Kumud asks her not to blame someone else for what she did… Kkusum is shocked… Kumud says that Abhinav is innocent, infact she used him too… Kali says that Kkusum did this to get rid of Abhay, she murdered him… Kkusum shouts that she did not murder him… Kumud asks her not to shout… She says that her papa died because of you, kkusum deshmukh… Kkusum cannot believe that she called her Kkusum Deshmukh… Kumud says that once she had said that she was not her mother but KKusum Abhay Kapoor but she was wrong… Kkusum cannot be Kkusum Abhay Kapoor, because a wife cannot make her husband pagal… Kkusum says that you all think that I wanted to get rid of Abhay but then why did I take Abhay for his treatment despite all the hardships… She says that if this were true, then why would she get Abhay's treatment and make him normal again… Abhinav comes there and says that he will tell everyone why she took Abhay from here… He says that if she would have stayed here, then everyone would have known the truth about her… He says that she used him and emotionally manipulated him to take her to Malaysia… Kumud shouts and says that he is lying but the truth is that he killed Kshitij… Kumud asks her to stop this rubbish… She asks her not to emotionally blackmail her by taking Kshitij's name… She asks her to leave… Kumud says that this family had suffered a lot of sorrow because of her and she has reminded them of all by coming here… She says that today is a very sacred day and she doesn't want 'key iss ghar mein kissi bhi paap ki parchaie parey'… Kumud says that she shouldn't come back here again and shouldn't try to develop any relations with any of the family members… Kali asks Kumud to leave it and asks everyone to come outside for the function… They leave… Abhinav (idiot) leaves as well… Kkusum remembers Kumud words… She sits on the floor and gets flashbacks of the previous diwali where sarla asks her how long it will take and she says that just a few minutes, since there cannot be a diwali without rangoli… sarla says that since the day KKusum came to this house, everyday seems to be diwali… She says that Kkusum is their Lakshmi… Flashback ends… Another Flashback, this time with Kumud… Kumud says that when ever mama lights up diye, she has this certain happiness on her face… Kkusum says that during the dark night at diwali, these diye spread light all around and give everyone courage that no matter how long and hard this night is, it will pass by easily if you have courage… Flashback ends… Sad Version of the title track goes on in the background… Kkusum cries and remembers what Abhinav did to her… Mahi comes there and laughs at her… Mahi says that is she surprised to see her in her position… mahi says that this was bound to happen because she tried to kick her out of this house but instead she has no place at that house now… She says that the family for whom she kept her life at stake, today they don't have any place for Kkusum today… Mahi says that the biggest sorrow is that the daughter who she raised herself considers her dead now… Mahi says that she will keep regretting this loss of hers this time… She says that this is called Mahi ki jeet… She asks her to go back to the chavl or of she doesn't want to go there, why doesn't she got to Abhay since he is all alone up there… mahi says that he might not even accept her there… Kkusum is dumbfounded… Mahi asks her to cheer up and look how happy she is today…
KKusum leaves… She sees people outside… Sad version of Kkusum goes on… She sees Kali and Kumud lighting up the firecrackers… Kkusum notices Kumuds' pallu very close to the firecrackers… She runs and pushes Kumud aside… Everyone sees that… Kkusum gets hurt… Kumud gets mad and says that how dare she touched her… She says which language would she understand that they cannot tolerate their face… Kkusum tries to explain but Kumud says that why does she care if caught fire of died… Kkusum says what is she talking about… kumud folds her hand and asks her to leave… She asks her to just go away… Kkusum leaves… Abhinav comes to her and says that he understands that she doesn't have anything to say now… He says that he lost his wife, kid, career for her but she did not agree even after spending 3 years in jail… he says that then he thought why she was doing all this, then he realized that he was wrong to think that Abhay was the wall between him and Kkusum when in reality the actual wall was her family, her hope, her strength… He says that he has created all the differences between her and her family in these three years as he had nothing else to do… He says that when love does not get the appropriate response, then it turns into 'zid'… Abhinav says that now if she doesn't come to him, she will have to suffer a lot in life… Kkusum says that he took her silence as her weakness… She says that she has nothing to lose now, and those who have nothing to lose, can destroy the world… Kkusum points to him and says that before doing anything now, he should remember that the results are going to affect him very badly… Abhinav smiles… She says that she promises this will happen…
