CHAPTER-17
Arjun and Sameer drove to the destination. By the time they reached everything was removed and all were hidden in a boat locking them inside and Ganesh idol was placed on the trapdoor so that no one would get suspicious. Pathan looking at his goons, " visarjan hain issliye jyada chouki nahi lagega lekin phir bhi satark rehna aur sabke saath ghulmilna." As it's not a new thing, as people go into middle of sea to do visarjan. The route which they are taking would meet the sea....
Sam-jun and team reached the place but there was nothing which could give them that something wrong had gone there. Checking everything they all meet in the same place where sakshi confronted Pathan.
Sameer looking around, "Shree....tumhe pucca yakeen hain woh jagah yehi hai."
Shree nodded worried sick for her and started tracing her again. Arjun closed his eyes turning to otherside, he could feel her presence..."Jaan...kaha hoh tum."
Sakshi also felt his presence, "Arjun...mei apke paas huh..."
Suddenly Arjun looked down removing his shoe and bend down to pick it up. Looking at it he realised it's the same heart shaped braclet which she never parts, opened it but didnot see the mangalsutr.... remembered her words, "Chahe kuch bhi hojaye lekin yeh mangalsutr ko kabhi apnese dur nahi karungi."
"Sakshi yaha hai.......Rathod...yeh raha uska braclet." Saying Arjun held in infront of everyone. Except Shree and Rathod no one knew the importance of it.
Looking here and there his gaze went to outside the window... narrowed his eyes seeing a boat. "Rathod....kya iss ilakhe mei Ganesh ki mandap dekhe tum."
"Nahi...lekin yeh tum kyu puch rahe hoh .."
"Kyunki..... humne mandap nahi dekha na log dekhe lekin phir bhi Yaha Ganesh ki visarjan horraha hain...kahi kuch chut raha hain." Arjun thought deeply.
"Rawte...hum bina koi sabudh ke shakh ke basis par talashi nahi lesakthe." Sameer said to him, though he had no doubt on his friend.
"Mera yakeen karo.....Humhe uss boat ko rokhna hain." Arjun said and all ran towards the port. Taking the boats they surrounded the boat within few minutes stopping it. The goons started protesting, "Aaplog aise dakal nahi desakthe."
Arjun glared at him, "Warna...kya.."
"Dekhiya saab hum visarjan karne jaa rahe hain...ap log humhara rasta kyu tokhe."
"Humhe information mila ki kuch illegal horraha hain...humhe talashi leni hogi...team spread out and search." Sameer ordered with actions to round them.
Arjun went towards the idol... rounding it suspiciously...while here goons were sweating in fear. The team returned with empty hands, "Sir...kuch nahi mila." They said in sad voice.
The goons relaxed smirking inwardly, "Kaha na kuch nahi...aaplogon ko koi kaam nahi toh kya aam insaan ko rokhnege "
Sameer glared at him furiously but without evidence he couldn't do anything..."Chalo team...Rawte." he called out seeing Arjun whose eyes didnot left the statue.
Arjun sensed her presence that she is very near to him and his instincts would never go wrong, when it concerns her....... Suddenly his eyes caught a crack on the idol.
Turning towards them, "Kya tumlog batasakthe....kitne din pooja kiya bhagwan ka."
The goons and team looked confused. "Yahi gyara din...kyu."
"Aisa hain toh Bhagwan par na koi mala hain na koi sindoor...yeh kaisi pooja." Arjun asked them.
"Issab se tumhara kya matlab...aur hum mala uthardiya taki pani karab na hoh......chalo niche uthtro..." The goon yelled in frustation.
Arjun twisting his hand, "Jab mei baat karraha huh...toh koi beechmei bole yeh mujhe pasand nahi...samje yaa samajao."
Pushing him he pulled his trigger pointing at the man, "koi visarjan nahi horaha hain....yeh murthi khandit hain aur koi khandit huye murti ko pooja nahi karte......murthi ke neeche ek trap door hain aur sab log ander hih milenge humhe." Arjun declared with that both goons and his team got alerted.
Goons pulled their guns out while team took theirs out...the shoot out started Arjun took majority of them as they dared to hide sakshi from him. With team co-ordination all goons were made incapable while Liza came with medical help and back up waiting for them at shore.
Arjun and others pushed the statue and saw the trapdoor. Opening it they got shocked seeing teenage girls and small children whose mouth and hands were closed. Team helped them pulling out one by one. After all came out they were shocked to see small girls who were crying. Ayesha and Liza started consoling them but Arjun left restless not seeing Sakshi among them.
Shree and Sameer sensing his distress..."Sakshi kaha hain..."
Shree kneeling before the children "Kya tumlogon ko pata hain Sakshi kaha hain .." showing them her photo.
The girl realising her, "Haa...didi.." getting Arjun's attention.
"Ah..kaha hain woh..." Shree asked her in panic....
"Woh ganda uncle..." She sniffed..."Woh ganda uncle unko lekar gaye...bhaiya...... didi ko bachao woh bahut achi hain...humsab ki raksha karrahi tho woh." The girl cried.
At the same time someone yelled Arjun's name....turning to the side every one saw Pathan kept Sakshi at gunpoint. Pathan who was hiding with the girls inside the trap door...listening to Arjun he got panic...while sakshi had a smile on her face.
Pathan narrowing his eyes pulled her roughly towards him catching her hand tightly, "Tumhari karan yeh sab huwa...mei tumhe zinda nahi chodunga..." barking at her he indicated his right hand who came towards them with a syringe which had powerful drug dosage.....
Taking it from the goon hand, he looked at her dangerously...."Abh tumhe koi nahi bachapayega...." While Sakshi tried to escape but Pathan mercilessly plunged it into her forcefully....as outside team was engaged inthe fight he dragged her towards other emergency exit shifting her into other boat with help of his two goons. The three escaped taking her with him.
Pathan glaring at Arjun, "ACP Arjun Rawte....apne team member ko bacha sakthe hoh toh bachalo..."saying he indicated his goons who pushed a senseless sakshi into water...which horrified Arjun, shree and Sameer as they know she don't know swiming and with drugs they could lose her.
Without thinking much the three jumped into water searching for her.... the team was looking on as no one emerged from water. On Ayesha signal Chotu went to nab Pathan as the area was surrounded by their men.
Arjun, Sameer and Shree were frantically searching for her, but they couldn't find in the water.....suddenly something shined which caught their attention....going towards they saw her stuck inside with seaweeds and the light which was shining was the diamond on her mangalsutr.
The three immediately freed her... Arjun and Sameer wrapped their hands around her and started swimming up., While Shree followed them.
Coming out of water, they took her into boat as they were in middle of the sea.... Arjun placed her down....started tapping her face, "Sakshi..sakshi....utho.." but Sakshi didnot open her eyes.
"Sir....pani me dubhne ke karan pani uske body ke ander gaye honge.....pehle pani ko bahar nikalna hain." Ayesha said rubbing her hands while Shree rubbed her legs....
Arjun nodded at her and keeping his hand on her stomach he pressed it slightly with light force....He again tried the same few times till Sakshi coughed which relaxed them.....by that time they reached the shore....Arjun again carried her in his arms towards the ambulance as she is still unconscious. He saw Kabir already reached there placed her on the stretcher nodding at him....."Liza baki sabko dekho unhe koi chot lage ki nahi." Sameer ordered her...while Kabir treated her Liza went to check other girls, who has slight bruises. Kabir seeing her mangalsutr removed it.....and infused drip with medicine which could counter the drugs.
Getting down, he went to Arjun and Sameer who stood aside with serious expressions...taking Arjun's hand he placed the chain "Uski amanat sambhal ke rakho..."
Arjun nodded keeping in his pocket, "Kaisi hain woh.."
"Meine uske body se drugs flush karne ki process start kiya..jaise hih drugs usske body se bahar ajyenge usse hosh ajayega." Kabir replied. They glanced at ambulance and saw Shree was with her.
"Par Arjun...yeh sab kya hain....aajtak mei keval tujhe hih pagal samjraha tha....yeh bhi aise harkath karne lagi...kya jarurat thi Pathan se akele milne ke....agar usse kuch hota toh.." Kabir asked them in anger.
"Trust me Kabir...ek baar woh theek hojaye aur hum ghar paunche...usko aisi saza dunga ki zindagi bar nahi bhul payegi...bahut hogai iski manmani." Arjun replied clenching his fist. His anger worried Sam and Kabir who looked at eachother nervously.
Here after sometime Sakshi slowly regained her consciousness......feeling buring sensation she coughed which got Shree's attention who helped her to drink water.
Watching his tight expressions, "Shree..." she whispered weekly
"Aaj nahi Sakshi...." Shree stopped her showing his hand...which made her realize he is very angry.
"Bache....aut pathan..." Sakshi panicked but shree stopping her..."Sab sahi slamat hain...aur pathan ko chotu pakad liya. Lekar athe honge...tum apna dyaan rakho."
Sakshi nodded getting up, she removed the drip wincing slightly, "Sakshi...yeh kya karrahe hoh." Shree asked angrily....
"Mujhe pehle bachonse milna hai ..." She said slightly shivering as her clothes were wet.....
Shaking his head, knowing she would want to know about the girls safety, He helped her to get down from ambulance, Ayesha, Liza and Kabir surrounded her aksing her questions which she replied with patience.
"Guys...iss pehle aaplog mujh par badke...mujhe bachon se milna hain." Sakshi said stopping their rant at the same time the girls came running to her hugging her with force..."Didi aap theek hona."
Kneeling before them, "ahh...mehek...mei theek huh...aapsab theek hain." She asked caresing their faces.
"Haaa..aapne kaha na...Arjun bhai ayenge aur humhe bachayenge...unhone bachai hume." The girl replied pointing at Arjun.
Sakshi stood up looking at Arjun.... various emotions were going through each...on one side, Arjun had relief, concern, and anger at her while here sakshi looked at him with love, pride, gratitude and guilt. She knew he is very mad at her slowly took steps towards him. "Arjun..."
But Arjun stopped her showing his hand, "Miss Sakshi Anand....apke yeh behaviour ko hum kal discuss karnege...ETF office mei." Arjun said sternly while Rathod nodded from his place..."Kal subah humdono ke samne tumhe apne behaviour ka explanation dena hoga...Miss Sakshi Anand."
The team looked at them with horrified expressions as not only Arjun but their Rathod sir calling her with full name made them realise how much deep trouble she is in...but Sakshi looked down with guilty as they are mad because of her actions.
Both felt bad but stood firm and saw that she was shivering as her clothes were totally wet hugging her body. Arjun realised she wore saree....as he didnot see her from morning, which only made her curves stood, glanced at other direction but frowned when few goons whom they caught were looking at her hungrily...as even in that state she was looking so beautiful and the sunset rays falling on her face only enhaced her beauty...which brought his possessiveness out.
Arjun moved towards her hiding her view...called out Shree..."Shree...Dekho Liza ke paas koi scarf ya duppata kuch hain."
Shree nodded going from there he returned with a scarf, "usse dho."
Shree helped covering her, while Sakhsi looking at him whispered, "Thnx."
Chotu returned with pathan whom he catched. Seeing him all glared at him dangerously. Arjun lost his cool going towards him swifty grabbed his neck..."Pathan.."
Shree and Sameer held Arjun backwards as Arjun is wounded lion and he would not hesitate to kill but they need pathan for their revenge.
As they were holding Arjun, Sakshi swiftly moved towards him slapping him tightly with a murderous glare.
Seeing her he smirked, "Toh bach gayi tum..."
"Haa...kaha na...Arjun ko kabhi kaam ankh mat karna...teen baar unke haat se hargayi phir bhi teri akad nahi gaye...abh mei tujhe seedha apna place tak nahi paunchaya toh mei bhi Sakshi An.." her words were halted by Arjun's shout...
"Bas Miss Sakshi....ek aur word nahi." Arjun shouted on her...."Chotu pathan ko ETF ke holding cell mei rakho aur achese khatir dari karna...kal isko interrogation karnege."
"Ayesha tum, Liza aur Riya....tumteenon inn ladikiyon se details leke apne apne ghar safely paunchana...yeh tumlog ki jimmedari hain..."
"Shree tum sakshi ko uske ghar drop karo...mujhe aur Rawte ko DIG sir ko report karna hain...."
"Sir lekin ghadi..."
"Tum log ETF ke SUV se chale jana....humdono Kabir se lift lenge." Sameer said and the five climbed the car....
Sameer took driving seat, while Arjun sat in passenger seat as he is very angry... while sakshi sat between Kabir and Shree looking down.
Sakshi not able to take their silent treatment...."Kya aapsab aise hih mujhe silent treatment dete rehenge..." but no one said anything....which pricked her heart.
No one said as word till they reached Singhania manison. The elders by now got to know about everything and we're worridely waiting for them. "Bappa...humahri baachi ko kuch nahi hona chahiye." Arpita cried folding her hands before the god.
The car entered inside....the entire ride sakshi felt miserable as no one was talking with her. Sameer stopped the car and went inside without giving a look at her, same with Kabir and Shree.
Only Arjun and Sakshi were inside the car..."Arjun...aap..." But Arjun got down not listening to her... opening the backdoor he caught her hand tightly and started dragging her inside furiously.
The family who saw their children worried and angry faces were so much worried for sakshi as Arjun anger is something they would never cross....and their expressions changed when Arjun dragged her inside.
Arpita, Gayu and Mrs Coelho stepped forward but Arjun showed his hand to them, "Visarjan ki tyaari kijiye...muhurat ka samai Betha jaa raha hain." Saying he dragged her to their room.
Sakshi was confused with his behaviour, but Arjun ignored her...picking a dress he threw at her..."ready hojao..."
Sakshi nodding at him went inside to take shower. After completing her chores she came out wearing white anarkali...and saw he was not there in the room. She saw herself in mirrow and saw few bruises.. slightly applied makeup hiding them on his wrist.
Looking at herself, she realised her mangalsutr was not there...frantically searched for it, "Kahi pani mei gir toh nahi gayi.." applying sindoor quickly then went down where everyone were waiting for her. She understood all are very angry....."Sakshi...aaj toh tu gayi."
Sam-jun, Shree and Kabir ignored her...and moved towards the idol. Sakshi silently joined them and they did arthi. After that the immersion process started and Arjun and Sakshi both immersed the idol in water....praying for their family. "Bappa...agle saal jabtak aap wapas ayenge tabtak humhara badla pura hojaye aur humhare parivaar mei khushian hih rahe ..aur haa jaate jaate Arjun ka gussa bhi aap saath lejayiye na." Sakshi pouted at last knowing she is in deep trouble.
They gave sent off to ganesh with much zeal and enthusiasm. Arjun while immersing idol saw her hands understood she hid her injuries which only increased his anger, "Bappa...aap humesha uski baat mante hoh lekin joh aaj usne kiya woh maafi ke layak nahi....naahi hih mei usse itne asani se maaf karunga.... "
"Bas ek request hain mere parivaar ko kuch nahi hone dena." Arjun prayed.
