Shivaay and Anikaa are a riot to watch together😆 Anikaas know it all attitude and her language, Shivaays reactions to it 🤣 and the utter joy Om, Rudra and Daadi have at the expense of Shivaay 🤣 That fark nahi padta phase has me in splits 😆 The words Anikaa comes up with just stays with you and its like you can use it in your day to day life🤣 They are so addictive😆

There are some like Gunne and I am lost like Shivaay and understand his plight🤣 She had to explain, mann mein bolne waale log , bohot chant hote hai 🤣

I loved the whole check mate scene too. The way she gets out of every situation and turns the table on him is nicely done. Inspite of the comic elements, there is a build up that makes you believe, that they would have a deeper soulful connection:)) Both of them are able to see the other side , directly or indirectly. Like Anikaa has this doubts about which is the real SSO after she sees him interacting with his brothers and daadi😆

The scene where she describes all her interactions with Shivaay to Om and Rudra is 🤣. Even the brothers keep correcting her when she says Kaanch to windscreen or Helicopter to chopper but Anikaa sunne walo mein se nahi hai. At one point she says, pata nahi unkke helicopter ka tyre puncture ho gaya hoga , isliye late ho gaye 😆

Lady gaga got renamed because these angrez log may sue her for defamation🤣

I can now see why you guys talk about them so much, they really are different and one of a kind. Right now its mostly on the funny side, but you can see the emotional build up also that happens between them.

The scene where Anikaa meets him to tell him that your 72 hours are up and you lost the challenge was nicely shot. The bit where Shivaay goes in his car and sees Anika laying broken was 💔

Overall I am liking the Anika- Shivaay scenes and their scenes with Brothers and daadi. I loled at the dumbness of makers actually putting Shivika, Rumya and Ishika after the tittle credits

The kaali coffee scene🤣🤣🤣 I just can’t 🤣 I completely lost it when he says its called Expresso and Anikaa just goes to aap bhi apni cheezo ko naam dete ho and then tell me about naming stuffs🤣🤣 She just doesn’t listen to him , just shoos him and his high talks most of the time😆 I just so relate with Anikaa on kaali coffee bit and her opinion on it 🤣

Lol sorry for my ramblings, I know it doesn’t make any sense but I just watched too many episodes and can’t put my though together, so just rambled:))

Arey please don't say sorry, Spidie....we are totally enjoying reading your ramblings on IB😆

@bold: I so enjoyed that she did that too.....this is again one of the things that set their pairing apart from typical bubbly girl and businessman pair....no one managed to steamroll "The SSO" quite like Anika did....lol even after all the confusions over not understanding the words the other used, they both managed to have these wacky convos and Anika especially had this way of waving her hand in his face and managing to disarm him simply with the strength of her irrepressible spirit.....lol

You mentioned some of my fav. scenes so I have to post the Gunne set😆

And haha I also agree with Anika's opinion on kaali coffee....her disgusted expressions in that scene after she tastes it🤣....and then Shivaay's expressions like he's literally DYING hearing her calling it SAIRA BANO😆

Another scene I love from this phase is when he comes to get her released from jail and she's still doing his chop in front of the cop also😆.....and STILL Shivaay can't help being weirdly fascinated constantly watching her antics😆

Daadi and OmRu were a riot when they teased Shivaay for his uptightness and his obsession with Anika😆....especially Rudy had the most fun pulling Shivaay's leg and shipping him with Anika since pretty early on😆

Daadi with her ISHQBAAAZ lectures🤣.....those were a running thing to troll in the show.....she managed to twist everything into being an "Ishqbaaaaz"😆

Oh daadi and her never ending Ishqbaazi lectures🤣 she literally had no other topic in world to talk about. It is so exhausting but entertaining hear her ramble about ishqbaazi and t

How the great ishqbaaaz(s) are . It worked in shuvaay ka case baaki dono kuch seeks na paaye sadly .

Finally caught up on SAKK.....man, this show airs on Saturday also? Phew it's hard to catch up when the weekends are busy.....lol

Aastha's scenes with Shaurya were definitely the highlight of the two epis.....she is literally an unheard of character on ITV right now.....very clear eyed about her principles and her dignity....not letting anyone drown her in majboori.....and that in itself guarantees this show won't get any TRP😆

a) A show in which a woman questions patriarchy and a system designed in such a way that a woman alone bears all responsibility for managing a household and children without expecting any support beyond financial from a man.

b) A show in which the other women in the house aren't sitting around bitching about a relative all day and actually empathetically presenting her predicament in the story rather than the usual angle of women looking to cast aspersions on each other.

All Aastha asked for was some support so that she could provide for her own parents.....she didn't ask for any money, she only asked that she be allowed the dignity of providing for her parents through her own income.....but that apparently was blasphemy.....lol jhooti shaan is the word indeed.....that Gayatri ke descriptions of Sabharwals are bang on......a pretentious world made up of hollow appearances and fake pride that is maintained on the facade of "keeping women in their place".

Aastha wasn't some rigid person unwilling to compromise in a marriage....she gave up her job as a part of the initial adjustment (even though that demand was also unfair) but she finally drew the line at not even being allowed to provide for her own parents.....and her loser spineless husband just stood around haplessly as a mother was seperated forcibly from her child.....itna pathetic tha that he couldn't even offer to leave the house with his wife and kid so that they could stay together as a family.....lol.....he deserves the contempt from Shaurya too then.

Shaurya ka POV is more understandable to some extent now since he was very young when his mom left and Devi clearly poisoned his mind by making it sound like Aastha left him for a career when she actually left to fulfill a responsibility and did try to take her son with her but he was forcibly taken from her.....I liked that scene when Aastha explains the difference between making a career and fulfilling a responsibility to Devi.

The makers have still tempered the 'feminism" down a lot for this premise by giving Aastha a reason for making the choice she did but I doubt even this much will be accepted by the TRP junta which only thrives on storylines of majboor women who are hapless in the face of injustices. A woman like Aastha would be alien to them.....lol

I like that Aastha didn't take crap from Shaurya and reminded him that she's still his mom.....Anokhi toh already is such a hyper defender of Aastha.....lol but that scene amused me for the insane irony.....Anokhi was taunting Shaurya about not being taught any manners by his mom and questioning his upbringing since he was being rude to Aastha, and he'd just turn to give meaningful looks to Aastha each time Anokhi said these things to him as if implying ki haan bhai meri maa se hi puchh lo kyun nahin sikhaya mujhe kuch😆...and Aastha would get awkward for a bit....finally she only had to break it up and take Anokhi away from there.....lol.....interesting conundrum for her character.

Shaurya for his part doesn't seek conflict so far even in disagreement.....he's got his misogynistic, orthodox views but he isn't necessarily imposing them on anyone....he just cuts off. He expresses his disagreement/disapproval through little gestures.....like when he handed the trophy to Anokhi, she was smiling at him all happily while he gave her a fake smile (probably remembering the audio of her speech in his head😆) and abruptly left the trophy as soon as she took it from him.....lol....and then with his mom....when she tried to stand closer to him on the stage while talking to him, he deliberately stepped away.

Anokhi called him Sir today toh I guess aage yeh bhi Shaurya SIR hi hoga iske liye😆.....also, I guess his Institute has some entrance exams for admission and Anokhi will crack those and land up at the Institute....and Institute is in Chandigarh, not Patiala I guess.....so main story will end up being based there looks like.

we are on same Page with all of this. The sheer fact ke aastha koi bheek nahi maang rahi thi ke aap mere maa baap ko paalo ya apne pati se bhi and they couldn't even allow her to work as a necessity . it wasn;'t ke bore ho gaye toh kaam kar lo even though woh bhi bilkul odd ya galat nahi hai agar koi akrna chahta hai toh why not. they just give her a simple sa jawab ke nahi toh nahi ya bahu ban jao ya provide for your parents Like WTH man. how the hell in the world they expected the old couple to survive agar beti bhi na kare toh. yeh kis kissam ki maang hai ke nahi. it is interesting when you bring the trp discussion in it caz all those people who hyped that shitty SM will not appreciate a show that actually gives the woman some grace wahan woh beta and bahu all day spewed venom and it did sort of work for the audience and logon ko bada morcha lagta tha. yahan they are doing it slyly and har waqt bakwaas nahi kar raha beta toh nahi chalega even though shaurya ka disappointment and hurt is so visible too esp when aashtha and anokhi move away again that moment kinda opened his past again with hsi mom again walking past him having no answers yet he didn't say naything demeaing to the point it is impossible to redeem liek woh SM wala bekaar beta.

hahah yes i enjoyed those looks too when anokhi straight on went on ke tumhe kisi ne kuch sikhaya nahi lol. so much for his mahaan maa devi who thrives on her mahaanta yet she couldn't teach basics to the son she takes so much pride in. Though i got shaurya ka reaction and pov towards his mother still you know what i mean.

word on the other women talking practically and not sitting around to enjoy cheap thrills out of devraniyon jethaniyon ki beizaati and character assasination.

Ok, so since this was really still niggling in the back of my mind, I had to take screenshots to confirm😆.....and yes, it's the same actress.

This is her as Bubbly in SAKK

And this is her as Devki in RK😆

She looks different with more makeup on as Bubbly while she had a simpler look during Devki's phase in the prison....

Btw I noticed the Kalpana Chawla poster that Anokhi has in her room while taking these screenshots.....lol and all the motivational quotes waale posters she has pasted everywhere in the room too😆

TRP wala point just instantly came to my mind cuz the contrast is too stark about what pseudo "woke" trash is being hailed all over TV if they show a token "majboor" maa trying to set up a business toh bhai greatest show ever ho gaya......but a show like this where the women are assertively standing up for their independence and dignity will barely be a blip on anyone's radar cuz HAWTNESS nahin hai so far😆

Shaurya ke views are ofcourse unlikeable but as a character, he is showing some layers in the way he conducts himself rather than doing typical tamasha.....he obviously has years of resentment built up and seeing his mom suddenly in front of him after so long and actually trying to give him explanations was not going to sit well with him......SM ke bete so toh koi comparison bhi nahin.....that guy is total trash. Shaurya ke problematic issues hain but he's not a monster like that Tarun.

Re: the maa scene.....lol mere liye toh it was enjoyable cuz Shaurya was projecting all those taunts onto Aastha only even though he claims ki ab Devi hi uski maa hai.....he had this bitter smile on his face that showed that he fully blames Aastha for leaving him and supposedly not teaching him the things that Anokhi was taunting him for.

But it was surprising waise ki itni jaldi clear ho gaya ki kya equations hain......maa-beta came face to face, and Shaurya ne dekh liya first hand that his mom is Anokhi ki hero who has taught Anokhi the same kind of ideals.....toh he will be even more heavily prejudiced against Anokhi when she lands up in his Institute.

Waise that family that came for Anokhi's rishta was kinda funny....lol but bechaari Rama ki itni buri haalat ki hui thi as she was scared about when Anokhi will return hom.e

Haan Anokhi's house is pretty normal looking....THANK GOD for once they didn't show yet another girl decorating her room like she's a 5 year old Disney princess😆.....the motivational quotes show ki Anokhi has always been focused on her goals and kisi bhi frivolous cheez mein dhyaan nahin jaata iska.

Still, she looked sweet in her gidda outfit and dance bhi achha kiya.....

And shaurya has a genuine reason to.diss his mother too unlike woh bekaar ka Tarun jisko pata nahi kis cheez se problem tha asal main. Ainvayein bekaar main chillam Chilli and naatak hota tha all day long and phir woh ek rajeshwari ka charctaer people hailed way too much when that fizzled out pretty quickly too.

That comparison came in my head caz of that token wali bashaanbaazi and sar chadhana only and mujhe funny lagta hai ke jahan koi actual conflict hai wahan aashtha is so quickly being judged as a bad mother who.left her son but her reasons have been ignored caz usne koi ott rona dhona nahi kia even when her hurt and yearning could be clearly seen.

Haan bechari poor rama was so tensed and I genuinly felt bad for her too itna jhel rahi hai woh bechari. That loser doesn't even give her time to pick up her phone 2 bell zyada bajj gaye toh dimaag kharab ho gaya why do such people exist man

Yup the whole gidda setup was done very well. What I like is anokhi has a natural charm and positive vibe she isn't shown as zaroorat se zyada mature in the way they design her looks. Dekhte hain shaadi ke baad kya karte hain hopefully they won't make her a daai Amma all of a.sudden
