As a public figure he ought to get over it - even if its ridiculous. It is the ridiculous state of his home country India.

People getting sued for various reasons is nothing new, it is a part of democracy.

Because of social media, we know about it a lot more.

The cases in US are even more weird.

Most celebs and companies have legal teams and lawyers to fight for such cases.

Stop putting news that it is happening only in the current regime, it was always done just that people know more about it.

In fact many so called cases are also very pr driven, they file the cases create a controversy, garner sympathy when the movie or book or show releases the cases are withdrawn.
