Why only Kaira?

Most people don't like Kaira here and I get it. Kaira definitely screwed up a lot and they made many mistakes. However, I don't get why people here like other characters. The other characters are even worse in my opinion. Gayu seriously expects Kartik to give more time to Vansh than Kairav. Kairav is Kartik's son and Kartik missed out the first five years of Kairav's life. Gayu knows that Naira endured a lot of torture in the hands of the Goenkas. Yet, Gayu madam thinks Naira is lucky. Gayu is annoying as she fails to take accountability for her own actions. Naira at least accepts her mistakes. Gayu married Samarth on the same day that Vivaan died. How insensitive is that. What is stopping her from divorcing Samarth? If she didn't marry him, her life wouldn't have been such a mess. The other Goenkas simply don't care about Vansh and you can't force the Goenkas to give attention to Vansh. Rather than having another baby, she should divorced Ravan Chachu. She doesn't blame Samarth or Dadi. She just blames Naira because Naira is everyone's punching bag. I like Naksh but he has been reduced to a sidekick sadly. I still don't get why he married Keerti. Keerti is another lost soul. She had no progress. Even after being abused for so many years, she still didn't think independence was important. She was so eager to marry another guy and depend on him. Lav Kush got ruined too sadly. Someone said that they are the saving grace in the recent episodes. I am glad that they are supporting Kaira now but I can never forget that they molested Trisha and wanted to kill her. Shubham was a brat too. He hit Naira with his car and trapped Kartik in a fake case. If he was alive, he would have been arrested for illegal substance possession. Yet, Naira got blamed for his death. Swarna Mata and Manish the maniac are the most pathetic characters. They never saw how much Kartik missed his real mom and were waiting for Saumya to die. They got married as soon as Saumya died and Manish probably cheated on Saumya. I still don't get why the writers glorify these nasty people. Swarna then had a child and gave away the child to cover up her mistakes. Yuck, horrible characters. Mansi is unproblematic but she freaking murdered Akshara. It was a hit and run case. I don't know why Naira even forgave her. Manish, Akilesh and Mansi should all be in jail for Akshara's hit and run case. Also, the illegal sex determination. There is no justification for that. The lesser said about Dadi, the better it is. All of the side characters suck. Bhabhi Maa is here only to lick the butt of the Goenkas. She thinks the Goenkas are her masters and she is their slave.

All of the side characters suck. They are poorly written and it is the writer's fault that they are poorly written. Kaira aren't responsible for the side characters being written so poorly. Even if the sidies got only two minutes of screen space, they could have been memorable if they were well written.

As a Kaira fan, I feel bad looking at Kartik at the most. Eew, what have they turned him into? The same guy who hated the Goenkas for all the reasons I mentioned above is now a complete Goenka. He was the sweetest character who is now ruined beyond repair. Once upon a time, he hated it so much when Naira was blamed. He didn't even judge her for supposedly aborting Raghav's baby. Now, he himself blamed her so many times. Naira has now been reduced to a mere doormat who gets blamed by everyone. She simply cries when she gets blamed. What happened to Tina? She hated her mom's mahanta but forgives the Goenkas so easily after the crap they do.

To summarize my long post in one sentence, all the side characters suck and Kaira aren't responsible for it like the people here claim. Kaira themselves had the worst progression. It's sad to see what the writers have turned Kaira into.

No. She expects people to not have ignored her son like they started doing after Kairav came along. She reminds Manish that everyone was obsessed with Vatsal initially. But if he has picked Vatsal up even once since Akshu's birth. He had no answer.

Not everyone treats divorces as casual breakups like Kaira. Most people treat them like a one-time conclusion. So it takes time to get there.

Samarth is very emotionally abusive. He frequently manipulates Gayu into agreeing with him. To get Gayu pregnant, he started treating Vansh better & promised that he won't treat their bio-child differently. He confessed that he's only bitter towards Vansh because Vansh is the reason Gayu refuses to have their bio-child. You clearly don't understand how gaslighting & emotional abuse works.

Of course yes, Gayu said Kartik prefers Kairav over Vansh. How dumb is she to say that? Kairav is Kartik's son. She is super jealous of Naira and even Akshu. The way she yelled at Krish who is a kid shows how insecure she is. Gayu hates Kairav. Isn't that obvious? She over looks the faults of her own child. Vansh lied that Kairav pushed him. The way she yelled at an already traumatized Kairav . This shows how pathetic Gayu is. Gayu Mata thinks Vansh is perfect. About Krish, what do you mean he is ignored? He just returned from a foreign country and didn't even live with the Goenkas for the most part.

Also, Gayu is spineless not to divorce a jerk like Samarth. Why doesn't she criticize Samarth? Samarth literally fat shamed Vansh and she was silent. Who spoke up then? Naira did. Naira is everyone's soft target. If you think Gayu should stay in this crappy marriage, then I am sorry but it is regressive. She really needs to take a divorce rather than blaming Naira and she shouldn't have agreed to have a second kid.

FYI- No offence to you and please don't take it personally. I know Kaira screwed up a lot but what I don't get is the love for side characters here. In my personal opinion, the side characters are very poorly written.

Firstly, I just had extra time so I made this rant post. I personally don't think arguing here would do anything as the makers butcher every single thing for TRPs. I am sorry if anyone felt that I got rude or personal. I have seen how brutally they butchered Kaira and it is evident that they don't care about any characters or story. Anyways, my whole point is why love side characters? You claim Kaira make mistakes but so do the side characters. The side characters get unreasonable too and badly mess up. If side characters screw up, they are humans but if Kaira do the same thing they are called pathetic?

Inspite of that they manage to get sympathy because viewers could connect with them. But in Kaira's case, despite getting all the attention and SS, they still come across as poorly developed characters. I was a huge fan of Kaira when the leap happened. But then after their marriage, everything went downhill. Their characters were butchered way too much. And Naksh, Kirti, Gayu all come across as more human and much better characters. Then again that is my opinion. You cannot judge anyone's opinion. People can like whoever they want. Just like you like Kaira, others like side characters. That's all.

Why not?? Why can't people like side characters. It is their wish. Also Kaira are called pathetic because despite making 100 mistakes and not learning from them, Kaira are till called great and the epitome of goodness by every one. They hijack every single track, complicate it more and yet they are called mahaan. While the side characters get blamed, even for things they didn't do and their good deeds are completely ignored. So people tend to sympathize more with them.

LOL your post made me laugh because it's actually bang on. Basically this show went to shit. The glorification of Gayu that's happening is confusing to me. I understand that she had indeed went through a lot but it's doesn't justify the way she's speaking to children. Like how is that okay? It's NOT. Gayu needs to gtfo out of this Goenka house which indeed is toxic. She needs therapy as do the rest of the characters. Pretty much everyone sucks. 😂😂 All Naira does is cry cry cry. & Karthik? Damn, don't even get me started on this guy.

So well summarised the whole story of kaira.. I more then 100% Agee on your thoughts about kartik’s character.. he is same Kartik who punched his jiju’s face just because Naira said he misbehaved with her.. when he had not seen it in person.. but after marriage, his character changed gradually and became worse with time.. its so sad to see that.. sometimes I feel that the writers must not be the same who had written akshara’s journey and then kaira’s journey before marriage.. because it’s totally ruined after Goenka’s entry.. some kind of negativity in the show permanently
