I know, one more recent show (won't name it as it goes against IF COC) wherein the FL doesn't ponder over her actions but rather continues her delusional drama. The show had a good buildup but after it took a leap, her characterization was fully tarnished into pieces.

I really wanted it too!

Just a few minutes of her introspection rather than the mother-son's scheming would have been great.

I don't know why shows drop the ball on such wonderful tracks.
