Poll
The better performance?
Only for those who have watched both, please, and can make an informed judgement.
To me, Tripti in Bulbbul>Saiyami Kher in Choked>Taapsee in Thappad are the 3 best female performances of the year.
In short, Tripti beats Taapsee.

Bulbul had more shades and tripti nailed every shade of hers. In Thappad Tapsee had her moments where she shined but as a whole she was great but tripti was phenomenal/almost flawless I also love Paoli

Absolutely agree👏
Glad to see Tripti winning this poll❤️
Loved both! Btw does anyone have a link for that last godh bharai scene in Thappad with Tapsee's monologue? Damn that scene was just too heartbreaking but too good ❤️

I'll try to search, but I don't think it's there on Youtube
Really scratching my head over why Tripti is so overhyped in this forum for that film. It was at best an average-ish performance. She doesn't particularly have screen presence also her dialogue delivery was flat. Tbvh it was Pauli who made a mark, and stole the film with her one scene. I had already forgotten about Tripti as the movie ended, maybe also because the movie wasn't great either

Tripti was flawless in the movie, acc. to me. Paoli Dam is a seasoned actress, but Tripti held her own against Paoli even in the intense scenes. Tripti nailed all the shades - be it the innocent bride, the transformation into a woman of the world, and everything in between.
Tripti in Bulbul was a revelation.I loved Tapsee in Thappad but Tripti did not have a single bad or avg scene. She was staggeringly impressive throughout..so I might choose her over anyone when it comes to last year performances.
Tripti in Bulbul and Tapsee in Manmarziyan will be a difficult one to choose for me.

It's been 6 years, and they are going to be back together as actress-director combo. Just saw the trailer and it was hard-hitting as hell. Assi...
