I can't think of anyone except Neha Kakkar. She is not terrible or too good, she is ok. Arijit has his own style & its great for his genre.

Maybe, I have taste & haven't listened to those who have come in 3-4 years. 😆

Neha ke baad wale. See the artists who have been signed by labels. Wouldn't say all are bad...but I prefer reality show singers hehe.

Since u seem to like good songs, I'll post a current fave of mine for you. These are the kind of songs I like and really hope they cross millions of views coz they deserve it :

Good song, but nothing like it gave me goosebumps or anything. He needs someone who can write good music for him.

Though, I think if singers are good & have awesome or unique voice they eventually get picked by music directors. Like, A.R Rahman has his favourites.

It needed better programming. This sounds like the kind of song a music director does roughly and gives the programmer for further work.

The tune's good but needed more work done. Half the songs of today don't have good tunes, just lots of "masala".

Music directors have no say nowadays, except like you said Rahman. They have to chose from the label's artist roster. A singer for a song is like tadka on a dish, agar phuus hua toh pura gaana bekaar ho jayega.

There was one more show kaun jeetega Bollywood Ka ticket it had TV actors as participants
