Ok so, great review Gayathri.👍🏼
I love reviews. Kitne perspectives padne ko milte hai. Especially, Veer pulling Bani away, that one was really good. Never thought that way.
Coming to Veer's hate for Naga and Naagins, I don't think, we need to worry too much about Veer's hate for this. Cause when it comes to Bani, all his notions fly out the window. His hate is not something he cannot overcome. It is a conditioning he has received in this life, to stop him from chasing Adi Naagin. But, once he fully acknowledges Aakesh and his past, his POV would have changed, because Naageshwari or Bani, they are above everything else in the world. Infact, I have never seen Veer hurting serpents that much.
Bani is not completely wrong. Veer hasn't contributed to being the ideal man in her life. Frustration and jokes aside, no one has suffered as much as Bani has as Naageshwari. She is a damaged soul. She became Adi Naagin to protect her people. She faltered and all her people died. She feels guilty also for Hriday's death to some extent. All, because she trusted Aakesh for that single moment, and she served a punishment 10,000 years long. She is reborn again, and the same story is on repeat. The difference is Veer has changed the story. Aakesh died willingly for Naageshwari. But Veer will not lose Bani without fighting it out. "Jo Veer ko bha jaata hai, uski pakad me aa jata hai, chodta nahi woh usse". Veer is a refined version of Aakesh. Veer has the insanity of Aakesh and instincts of a lion. So, once he embraces Aakesh, I really want to know how he acts and reacts to Bani. Cause his insanity will be on another level, but Veer also breathes inside him, so he will also use his brain this time, and not die. He will win Bani over. Because he doesn't lose.
Hriday has changed too or maybe hasn't. He is not willing to play second fiddle surely as Jai, but he is a big joke as Adi Nag, truly. I understand where Bani comes from regarding Jai. Jai came off as a well-intended good man. Also, Bani was this weird shapeshifter in a family of humans, all alone. Jai gave her the comfort of finally belonging somewhere, being the same, and not being treated as an outsider or different. So Bani finds comfort in Jai, as he is like her. But she doesn't know that Jai is not what she thinks. And she will know soon.
Veer needs to realize his folly as Aakesh and amend his mistakes as Veer. Jai will realize that betraying your own kind does not bear fruits you want. Bani will realize that the world is vast, and its diversity is what makes the world beautiful. Sometimes comfort, solace, and family are found in corners we don't expect. Maybe she finally could find a family in Veer and his family.
