Serious Men

Watched Serious Men on Netflix and absolutely loved it. It's a social satire and the cast was superb, especially Nawazuddin, his wife, and the kid. Though it digressed from Manu Joseph's book quite a bit for example in not depicting the affair in a full-fledged manner between Dr. Acharya and Oparna, the movie's tonality was pitch-perfect. Blending humour, emotion and drama, the film will leave you in splits one moment and deep in thought the next. Impressed by the way Sudhir Mishra has blended elements of social satire with scathing commentary on contemporary times.
