If wanting to make your leads the most popular, most loved stars, then he should've been glad that Shah and Rhea are already so popular. The amount of popularity, praise, awards, money etc he could've minted IF he had just smartly used rhesha and mishbir's talent and natural fame, it would've made him rich. His ego is something I will never understand.
