There are always exceptionally bitchy people out there.😆 Those judgmental pricks are probably second generation desi kids with unexplained insecurities cuz their own parents were fresh off the boat once upon a time. Self-hatred is pretty high among that group. There are also plenty of successful international students here who assimilate really nicely, were raised really well and establish themselves pretty well professionally too.

None of them are ever going to go to jail. I don't think that's the intent. What they want to do is ruin reputations and cast a shadow over the industry. The BJP has been trying for years to have more control over a rogue industry that doesn't support them. So far all they've been able to do is force them to do some photo ops for them but it's obvious that most of them don't want to align with them.

If they cast enough fear over them, they can make everyone dance to their tunes. Behind the scenes, they will need to reach out to scummy politicians to help them get out of this. Once that happens, they will have them under their thumb forever. They can extract some bribes out of them too. People like Rhea are useless for them except to get to higher-ups that have more money and more to lose. I won't be surprised if Rhea is being prompted about which names to give.

Downloading pirated music is also illegal. So is watching a pirated film etc. But many people do these things despite their being illegal.

Just like that, weed is pretty common in colleges across India, and in parties with young people.

Heck, homosexuals were also illegal two years ago, despite India still having a thriving gay culture.

However, action is not taken on these things because they are not enforceable, unless you really want to pin a guy down, then you will find some absurd rule, like the sedition law and slap it against people you don't like.

I am sure all bad things are connected in some way. So give your gyan to someone else.

Samuel is very friendly with rhea, he was liking her posts till recently.

and rhea mentioned the Thailand trip, then Samuel came out with the allegation that Sara was dating sushant, they've been trying to get Sara involved into this for a while, I don't know why, but anything they say, I don't believe them.

and even if she has smoked a joint or two, she much have realized rhea was bad news so after hanging out for a few times, she stopped, so nothing criminal about that.

I don't think Rhea is innocent by any means. She has her share of shadiness from her association with Mahesh Bhatt to the open, public bitching of Sushant's family and Ankita. I've always been suspicious of her since day 1.

Having said that, I haven't been following the entire drugs drama closely cuz it's going off track from the actual case against her and it makes my head hurt.

Sure, weed might be illegal in India and if they wanna jail Rhea for that, they may. But that is just being used as a band-aid at the moment to comfort all those people who are out for Rhea's blood. In other words, there are 99 problems with Rhea but weed ain't one -- or at least not pertaining to SSR.

There are many things surrounding SSR that need to be looked into. If it were up to me, I'd start with those false #metoo rumors, and then go up that chain. Then I'd grill Rhea and her relationship with SSR, how the relationship started, how things moved so fast and how his life deteriorated so quickly.

Whether bollywood is drowning in drugs or not has NOTHING to do with SSR. That is just a byproduct of all the investigation CBI is doing, not the end result.

Plus who are we kidding? We ALL knew they were smoking pot and even sniffing coke before SSR and they will continue doing it after this episode too. It's silly to pretend otherwise just cuz it's illegal in India.

I'm not sure about bollywood's affiliation with political parties. I'm actually surprised so many people even know who's hitched their wagon to which political wing. But I know we can always trust you to bring up BJP and their IT cells wherever they might fit.... or even when they might not.😆

That's possible ... but sounds a bit too elaborate to me cuz no one had seen SSR's death coming. And neither do they know how Rhea's case is gonna pan out. At most, they must be trying to use this as an opportunity to get to big names at the moment... to get their hands on some money. You can call it my lack of knowledge but BJP trying to cast a net and conspiring to take over bollywood sounds almost like some illuminati conspiracy theory to me otherwise.

Men will give their grafted hair to be tested for drugs, or go bald. It's the women who can do nothing to escape this.
