And what? When did I deny that she did? You were the one who said she worked throughout her pregnancy by shooting for We are Family & Toonpur Ka SuperHero and doing promotions for all these movies when it was not the case. So my reply was to that only.

Veere Di Wedding shoot was delayed because they chose to rework the script to show her pregnant. She initially told them to take another actress so as not to cause any hassle to them but they stood by her. Unfortunately due to lack of maternity insurance, they decided not to go ahead with Kareena shooting in her 6th month of pregnancy. On the other hand, we have one unprofessional selfish actress who started shooting for a movie knowing she was already 4 months pregnant and then 8 days later decided to announce her pregnancy to the world without informing her director first. Shame!

When I said Kajol worked throughout her pregnancy I didn’t mean every single day anyways so I’m not sure why you were trying to discredit Kajol. She had 3 releases the same year she was pregnant so obviously she did some work.

What films did Kareena shoot while being pregnant that people boast so much about it? Just this one with Aamir coming up right? There’s an article posted a couple pages back which said many actresses like Juhi, Hema etc shot films despite visible baby bumps. People pretend like Kareena’s the first one to work while pregnant but that’s not true. Rhea and Sonam Kapoor are Kareena’s family friend so she has that luxury to have movies delayed to fit her schedule, perks of nepotism. Aish isn’t so lucky, she just got kicked out for being pregnant.

But, the way Bebo carried herself off during her 1st pregnancy was commendable. She didn’t hide herself. She was always glowing and happy in front of shutterbugs.

Anushka Sharma and other actresses in future could be inspired from Bebo and will not hide their baby bump in public.

You should watch her interview with Haroon on BBC Asian Network to even understand the debate point. Haroon told her she's the first actress to have gone back so quickly after having her baby and working throughout her pregnancy as well. We all know actresses have worked before during their pregnancies, some did movies, some walked the ramp, some did photo shoots, some had appearances etc but the point is while they did do all these things, they were out of sight for major part of their pregnancies. Kareena chose to keep on with her work commitments and routine while being in public view till her delivery. She attended events, did photo shoots & ads, walked the ramp and was even going to shoot Veere. She was never away. Whether it was her 1st, 2nd, 3rd ....9th month, she was around. That was refreshing to see…a top actress’s full pregnancy journey. At least that's the point Haroon and the likes of us are making.

Veere Di Wedding also had Nikhil Dwivedi and Ekta Kapoor as producers so it was not only Rhea's production that she could do whatever she wanted. Kareena didn't get the movie delayed to fit her schedule. She clearly told them to take another actress. Not her fault if they chose to stand by her. They had difficulty to even get funds for that movie so it was not as if Rhea was splashing Anil's money to please her friend.

Before movie was announced with her as the lead, Aishwarya knew all along she was pregnant. Madhur was clear that things could have been reworked if she told them the truth right from the beginning. If they could postpone the shoot to a couple of months later to accommodate Kareena, they would have no problem to do same for Aishwarya. Heroine wasn't a light hearted comedy that they could have gone ahead with the shoot. Given the sequences of the movie, there was no way she could have shot for it with being + 4 month pregnant. Film was about glamour. Imagine her shooting for Halkat Jawani and Main Heroine Hoon with her baby bump. She knew all about that still she chose to hide the truth before shooting began. After shooting for some 8 days, she decided to reveal her pregnancy to the world. More shameful was the fact that her director had to learn it from the media like everyone else. So Aishwarya was kicked for being unprofessional and selfish rather than for being pregnant. So please don’t play the nepotism or luck card here.
