A 7 year old relationship can never be waste of time. If it stood for so long there has to be equal efforts from both the sides. Nobody "passes time" for 7 long years. That s just absurd.

And its also not necessary that every relationship should end up in marriage that expectation is absurd.

Why and how did you deduce it was a waste of time? The very fact that it lasted for 7 years showed that both parties were invested in the relationship. And just because it didn't culminate in marriage doesn't mean it was not serious. There could be multiple reasons why it ended, and also the fact that she is with Vicky now doesn't mean that the 2 relationships are any way similiar or will have similiar outcomes.

Exactly and most relationships technically have a sort of implicit end, an “expiry date”, usually around that 7-years of dating/being together.. that’s why most couples consciously or subconsciously get pregnant around that time, as if a way to find a “reason” to continue staying together.. it’s a very pessimistic view and a bit west-centric but it kind of checks out.. it’s usually 6-months (breaking off or continue dating plus getting serious).. then the 3-4 years timeframe (usually this is when ppl begin thinking about or getting married) and then the 7-years (getting pregnant if already married else breaking off.. ) Mm not saying it’s science proven, lol but we aren’t as monogamous as we think we are..
