16. Past

“What time is it?” She asked rubbing her eyes as she nudged her husband, who was busy checking mails in his mobile.

“Ah you’re finally awake” He said placing his mobile on bed side table and rolling on top of her.

“I don’t want to wake up.” She complained trying to push him off. After a silly battle of trying to gain control and rolling over, they finally settled with her on top resting her head on his chest and him playing with her hair.

“So what were you saying last night?” He teased her.

The party ended quite late and by the time they cleared everything, she got too drowsy and fell asleep as soon as she hit bed.

“I’m too exhausted to recall anything.” She didn’t bother to think.

“What will I do with you Heer!!! By the way it’s 1:00pm.” He knew that would be enough to wake her up as she has an appointment at 2:00pm.

“Are you serious? Why didn’t you wake me up then?” She said trying to get up.

“See that woke you up. It’s 12:00pm.” He said pulling her down.

“Kripa has booked us in for hair appointment at 2:00pm. I need to get ready.” She was trying to check how far the salon was and if she they would be able to walk.

“Don’t worry I’ll drop you” He assured her.

“Can you do pick up as well? Please Prem” She pleaded as he was being so generous.

“Well that depends on” Before he could continue, she kissed him.

“I was about to say traffic but this would do as well” He said as they settled.

Hearing noises from the kitchen, they realised the other couple was awake as well and dragged themselves out.

----

As they reached the venue to attend his friends' reception, Heer tightly grasped Prem’s hand. Understanding her nervousness, Prem comforted her with his smile. It was the first time she went out with him as his wife or for others as his fiance.

Angad and Prem went to meet their batch mates while Kripa and Heer made their way towards the table assigned.

Kunal was already seated there and was happy to see them.

“You made it finally. I was feeling so bored.” He said.

“It’s the traffic.” Kripa told him how busy the roads were as they settled.

“Don’t lie. I got live updates on how long you were taking to get ready.” He tried to tease her.

“Let’s find you someone tonight so next time you’ll know as well just how long it takes.” She retorted.

“No thanks.. I’m happy” He didn’t want to drag that discussion further as it was harmful for him.

“It was so much fun last night” He complimented Heer on food and how nice it was to meet her friends as well.

“Friends or Ishita in particular ?” Kripa decided to pull his leg seeing his mobile buzz with a message from her.

“Chill.. she was just thanking me for dropping her last night.” He replied.

>>> Before they could tease him further, Sanjana dropped by their table to greet them.

“Congratulations Heer... I didn’t realise you guys were together then...” She said recollecting meeting them on Preet’s graduation.

“Thanks..” Heer just smiled not knowing what to add on to that.

“It’s so nice to see Prem happy though...” Sanjana added and Heer could clearly see Kripa and Kunals’ discomfort.

“Excuse me but I’ve to steal her for sometime” Prem walked in to take Heer to meet some friends. Sanjana also left to join her table.

Prem held her hand and kissed on it.

“I know I’ve said it already but I can’t seem to take my eyes off you today” He whispered in her ear.

“You don’t look too bad yourself” She said flirting back a bit.

They greeted the newly weds and chatted for a bit. While walking back, some of Prem’s friends caught up and she spoke with them. She made her way back to the table as Prem headed to washroom.

She could suddenly feel attention on her from tables near by theirs mostly from Prem’s batch mates. She noticed a couple at their table with their backs facing her. Kripa and Kunal were a bit tense and as they saw her coming it seemed to worsen.

“What’s wrong?” She whispered in Kripa’s ear as she settled next to her. There was no answer as Kripa was busy looking at someone. Following Kripa’s gaze, she saw the woman sat next to her.

The couple looked a bit uncomfortable with the attention on them but were secretly holding hands to comfort each other which Heer didn’t miss. They look so perfect together, she thought not understanding all the unwanted attention on their table.

Heer smiled at them. They were right next to her so she decided to talk.

“Were you in same college as well?” She asked deciding to break the silence.

The couple seemed a bit surprised but smiled and said

“Yes I was... Hi I’m Arohi and this is my husband Arjun.” Arohi introduced herself.

“Hi I’m Heer. Prem’s fiancé.” She said while Kripa and Kunal looked at each other in disbelief.

“How’s Prem?” Arohi was startled a bit but continued to talk, trying to be polite.

“He’s good, busy with work and travel but settling in.” Heer answered but understood Arohi might not have known the situation.

“He’s moved to London as I live here.” She added.

“Ah nice.. may be you can help us with some tourist information then. We’re planning to travel around UK since we’re here for a week.” Arjun joined the conversation.

The conversation soon turned to weather, food and possible destinations in UK.

Angad found Kripa’s message “come soon” and made his way towards their table as fast as he could. He found Heer having a conversation with Arohi & Arjun and looked around for Prem.

He saw Prem walk in right then standing behind Heer’s chair asking “Dinner?” and looking straight at Angad without noticing the surroundings.

Angad then signed with his eyes to look beside Heer but before he could, Heer turned to him and said “Ah finally.. have you met them?”

It was then he saw the couple and his face went pale.

“I’m so hungry. Let’s get some dinner first” Angad pulled Prem away from there.

As they were serving themselves food from the buffet

“Were you aware she was coming?” He asked Angad.

“Yes I was but didn’t realise they’ll be seated next to us.” Angad thought Sam was aware of the history.

They went back to their table that was empty now. Others were in queue to get food as well, Heer still talking to them while Kripa and Kunal watched as silent spectators.

“I need to tell her” Prem looked at Angad.

“Can’t it wait till you go back home” Angad didn’t want that conversation to happen there unsure of how Heer would react to it.

Prem saw Heer talking to Arohi and then handing her plate to Kripa and heading somewhere. He immediately followed her.

“Heer wait I need to tell you something.” He held her hand in his and looked into her eyes.

“Arohi used to be very good friend of mine in college. After college, we started working at the same firm. I asked her out as I thought we liked each other. We went on 1 or 2 dates and then she just disappeared.” Heer pulled out her hands and ran from there.

He stood there quietly scolding himself for not telling her earlier.

“Still here?” She asked bringing him out of his trance. He didn’t realise how long he stood there lost in his thoughts.

“Next time you decide to tell me about one of your ex please choose a better place and time.” She said and he finally noticed that they were standing very near to washroom.

“I didn’t realise” He was quite embarrassed.

“It’s very flattering to know that your focus is only on me but sometimes would be helpful if you do take notice of the surroundings as well.” She decided to tease him.

“Very funny ok.. I was so scared that you left” The way she walked away, it scared him.

“Well I did drink a lot of water. I had to go.” She was in a rush to go and didn’t expect him to follow her and least of all shock her with his past all of a sudden.

“I’m sorry I should have told you much earlier about it.” He apologised.

“I don’t think there is anything to be sorry about. We ran into her and you told me so I’m ok with it. I don’t really want a list of all your exes. Besides I already guessed there was some history, seeing Kripa and Kunal’s reaction. She’s happily married and so are you so I think it would be best to end this sort of Cold War going on with your gang and her. I do understand she rejected the Prem Juneja but to be fair they were childhood sweethearts so I can’t really blame her.” Heer learned from Arjun that Arjun & Arohi met in school and continued to keep in touch even though they went to pursue different careers.

“What? How do you know?” He tried to recollect but Arohi never mentioned any Arjun.

“Arjun told me they met in school and later had a long distance relationship with lots of ups and downs. May be she wasn’t sure so didn’t tell you guys.” Heer told him what she knew.

“Well I thought she was avoiding only me but would’ve kept in touch with Angad and Kunal. I guess they might have been..” He realised that they might have given her cold shoulder.

“Let’s go and sort it out then” They went back to their table where everyone was silently concentrating on food being eaten.

“Hi Arjun, I’m Prem. This is Angad&Kripa and Kunal.” He decided to mend the relationship he damaged.

“Hi.. it’s so nice to finally meet you. I heard so much about you guys.” Arjun knew how much Arohi missed her old friends though things went sour between them.

“Good things I hope” Kunal joined in.

“Hmm depends on your memories of all the extra lectures you had.” Arjun winked.

Everyone laughed as they recollected that incident. Heer & Kripa had no idea so Angad narrated the incident.

It was one of those boring lectures on budgeting and Arohi was trying to convince Kunal to bunk the afternoon session to go to a Hritik Roshan movie. Kunal kept denying but she was adamant.

“Please Kunal let’s go for matinee. Warden wouldn’t allow to go out for night show” Arohi pleaded.

“No” Kunal screamed aloud tired of her constant badgering.

The professor looked at him in shock. Angad & Prem, who were sitting behind were trying hard to control their laughter. It was end of the session and the professor asked him to meet outside.

“I did think I wasn't able to explain it well. If you do need extra help understanding the model, why don’t we catch up in the evening after college? I’ll give you extra tuition starting next week and also, find out if anyone else is interested they can join as well. Make a list and give it to me tomorrow.” Kunal was confused as hell as the professor left.

Prem joined him and mentioned how the professor was asking if everyone understood the model he covered in the class that day and he screamed no right then.

“What? I wasn’t even paying attention to what he said. Arohiii...” He screamed but she ran away.

As revenge, he signed her up for the classes as well along with Prem and Angad.

The four of them looked at each other and smiled.

“Let us get some dessert” Heer nudged Kripa and they walked away. Taking cue, Arjun excused himself as well joining the ladies.

“I messed it all up, didn’t I?” Prem asked Arohi.

“No Prem it was me. I didn’t handle the situation well. I should’ve told you guys about Arjun. Few days before you asked me, I had a big fight with Arjun and ended our relationship. I felt I had to move on but when we started going out I realised he can only be the one and I can’t let him go. So, I had to rush to tell him.” Arohi felt over the years that she shouldn’t have left like she did and should have given Prem some closure.

“We’re sorry too that we took Prem’s side and didn’t realise what you must be going through.” Kunal and Angad apologised. They patched up and Arohi started to cry.

“You still look pretty ugly when you cry” Prem teased her earning a slap on his arm.

“So, Kunal’s the last one standing, just like we thought” Arohi said wiping her tears and recollecting their discussion around who would marry and settle down.

“Ah please not that topic.. I’m so happy that you all found love of your life but I’m happy as I am and let me keep my peace.” He was tired of the discussion around his love life everywhere he went.

“Heer told me you live here now, that’s a big change considering how you always wanted to be home.” Arohi asked Prem.

“Well home is where your heart is and that’s here so I’m happy.” His eyes were fixed on her as she walked back towards the table.

“Wah wah” Angad and Kunal clapped.

Arohi was glad to see Prem so happy as that wasn’t the case last time she tried to reach out to him.

They drove back to the house as Kripa and Angad decided to stay back longer and they had work to go to tomorrow.

As they headed out of car park, she asked him

“Can we go for a walk Heer, please?” He pleaded.

She just wrapped her arm around his waist and walked towards the riverside. They walked till they were close to a bench.

He looked at her eyes shining in the moonlight and then at her lips and kissed her till they ran out of breath.

“I wanted to kiss you as much as you did that night but I was scared...” He told her once they settled on the bench.

“I wanted to talk to you after that but you ran away and later you kept avoiding any meeting Preet set up so I thought may be it was a mistake.” He added as she remained silent. His past experience didn’t allow him to make an impulsive decision. He never spoke or thought about what happened with Arohi once she left.

“When Arohi left me like that I thought I’ll never be able to trust someone again but when I met you, everything changed. I tried very hard to erase you from my thoughts but...” He smiled looking into her eyes.

She held his hand between her palms

“I know it was a tough battle. I fought it too but couldn’t win so had to come and see you at the airport. I was unsure of how you felt and even if you did, how would we make it work? We made it so far but I’m sure we’ll have to conquer many more battles. Let’s just live in the present and build a future together.”

They kissed and then headed back home as it was very late.

Sorry for the long wait everyone.. was in my draft for a long time but didn't get a chance to post.

No matter how many wonderful characters Sushant played in the movies, for us kis deshians he’ll always be our Preet. One thought of Preet and his smiling face comes to my mind.. I did want to bring him back in this part but couldn’t write anything. Don’t think I can ever imagine a Premeer story without Preet in it though so bear with me till next part... Thanks for all your patience and support..

in front of bathroom scene was subtle and kinda funny. Kept us wonder what is happening!

The professor scene cracked me up omg 🤣

laughed so much 😆

yes Preet Juneja is how we know him and he is always part of Premeer - i’ve never could imagine PH without Preet. Preet and Prem and each of the member Jzoo with Preet is knitted together. Preet breathed life into the show - #SSR in real life or reel life - no words enough to describe him.❤️🤗

Woww kavya, beautiful update👍🏼love how you made everything clear between Prem and heer and didn't drag this ex part. Really like how heer just ran leaving a shocked prem as she had to use the washroom 😂😂 love it❤️

Sushant will always be our Preet. That happy-go-lucky boy who used to love irritating his father, who was always ready to do anything for his pb and heer bhabhi. We can never ever forget him. Infact, Preet was the life of the show.

17. New Beginnings

"Good Morning" She opened her eyes to drown in the chocolate brown eyes staring at her.

"Morning" He kissed her forehead and snuggled her even closer as she lay in his arms.

"Ah Monday.. back to work" She sighed.

"I know" He didn't want to leave her.

They heard the bell ringing and looked at each other surprised.

"I thought you gave your spare key to Angad" Heer asked him as they came back early from reception leaving the other couple there.

"Yes I did and I did hear them entering the house last night so it isn't them." He answered her.

"Let me go and check" He looked for his t-shirt and found it in a pile of clothes near the bed and winked at her as he handed her a robe.

"Go before they break the doors" She told him as he tried to play tug of war with her robe.

She tied her messy hair and put on her robe before rushing out as she heard familiar voices scream "Surprise".

"Preet Meher" She saw them hugging Prem.

"Meher, weren't you supposed to be preparing for your exam?" She asked Meher, who was hugging her now.

"I missed you too Di" Meher was hurt that her sister was more concerned about the exam rather than meeting her.

"Chill Heer, she's here only for a week and her exam is postponed to next month anyway." Preet replied.

"Thats' fine but why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Prem questioned Preet.

"To surprise you guys obviously" Meher replied.

"What's all this noise?" Angad walked in rubbing his eyes followed by Kripa.

"Angad Bhai" Preet was happy to his brother's best friend.

"Ah Preet" They hugged each other and Heer introduced Kripa to Meher, who immediately recognized her embarrassing Heer once again.

Heer guided Meher to the guest room while Preet said he was only here to drop Meher and freshen up to go office.

"We'll catch up for dinner Preet, I'm still a bit sleepy." Angad and Kripa went back to their room.

Preet went to freshen up in one of the spare bathrooms while Prem went back to their room to get ready.

"How's' the honeymoon going Di?" Meher nudged Heer once they were in the room alone.

"What do you think?" Heer questioned Meher crossing her arms.

"Oops I was bored at home and wanted a break so when Preet asked if I wanted to come, I couldn't refuse." She replied falling on the bed.

"Are you sure you didn't ask Preet to bring you here?" She was sure it was the opposite.

"Promise Di Preet asked me." She gave a puppy eyed look to her sister which she knew did its work.

"Fine... I need to go to work. I'm sure you're going to sleep now so see you in the evening. Text me if you need anything." Heer hugged her and left.

She walked into her room to see her husband coming out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel around his waist. He came closer to her and wrapped her in his arms shaking his head causing wet droplets to fall on her. She just took the spare towel on the bed and started to dry his hair.

"Busy day today?" She asked trying to focus on her task as he traced her neck and shoulder with his lips.

"Hmmm meeting around 10:00 but should be free around 12:30" He said continuing with his task.

"Lunch then" She asked and he nodded agreeing to meet her for lunch knowing plans would be made for dinner with everyone.

xxx

"Sorry I'm late Prem" She kissed him on cheek before settling down opposite him.

"It's fine Heer, just been here for 5 min.. I was late as well" He said.

"How was your meeting?" She asked as they ordered food.

"Pointless.. leave that.. Is it okay if I tell Maa to find a date in Dec?" He asked.

"Yes. I thought so too, it'll be a good time to take a long break." She said.

"So, did Meher tell you anything?" He asked.

"About?" She didn't understand.

"About them..." He rolled his eyes but she seemed oblivious.

"Don't tell me you didn't figure out there's something going on between Preet and Meher" He was surprised she didn't pick up on their stares and answer for each other this morning.

"What?" She looked at him in surprise.

"Heer, were you at the same breakfast table this morning?" He questioned her as it seemed pretty obvious at breakfast that they were having some kind of silent communication going on.

"I.. I was a bit distracted" She said, not wanting him to read her thoughts, trying to be busy eating her food. Her thoughts went back to this morning when she was busy drooling over him eating breakfast.

"Distracted with what?" He didn't understand but then he recalled their explosive kiss this morning just before heading to breakfast and a smile lit his face.

"Ok that explains Meher's sudden visit. Do you think we should interfere?" She asked as she knew he caught her and tried to wipe that smile of his face.

"I don't think we should. They're both sensible and besides, it would mean they'll leave us alone" He winked at her.

"Fine but don't let them know that we sensed it. I don't want to miss this chance to trouble them." She was excited to take her revenge.

xxx

“Preet, why don’t you leave early if you’re tired.” Heer said, noticing Preet holding his head in his head when she came back to her desk from lunch.

“It’s fine, a coffee will sort me out. There are a lot of mails to catch on. Where have you been?” He was surprised to see her missing from her desk.

“Lunch” She focussed on logging in her computer.

“With?” He asked as he checked his mails to see if he missed any team lunches.

“My husband of course." Heer whispered as she moved close to his desk. There has been changes to their desks and much to the annoyance of Preet, his desk was next to Heer.

"From your brother to my husband, PB has come very far" He smirked and she knew how to wipe it.

"If you’ll excuse me I need to call my sister to check if she bothered to wake up and eat lunch.” She said.

“She did and went back to sleep again” He said and bit his tongue as he realised. He didn’t even know when he started to like Meher. They always teased each other whenever they met but somehow while trying to get their siblings to meet they seemed to have become good friends. In the past few days spending time together with her in India made him realise his feelings went beyond friendship and he wanted to spend more time with her.

Heer looked at him surprised.

“I called to check on her to see if she needed anything and also to invite her for dinner this evening. I mean I booked a restaurant for all of us this evening.” He didn’t want to let Heer know as they’re still trying to figure out their relationship.

“Thanks I’ll let her sleep then” She cut the call. She could make out Preet was extremely nervous and decided not to push it further for now.

‘“Do leave at 3 and catch up on some sleep before dinner tonight.” She ordered him and he agreed.

xxx

“Hello” Heer announced as she came back from work.

“Ah just in time for tea” Kripa announced as she got the tea out.

“I’m going to miss you so much Kripa” Heer said as she joined Angad and Kripa in the living room for tea and biscuits. They were leaving the next day but Heer didn’t want them to leave.

“Are you sure you don’t want to postpone your trip by a week?” She said as she picked her tea cup.

“You’re not bored of us already? Think about your poor husband, we’re technically gatecrashing your honeymoon period.” Angad teased her.

“Haha very funny, but true, think about him. He didn't get to spend much time with you because of the Amsterdam trip.” Heer reasoned.

“It’s fine Heer. I need to be here on a work photoshoot for the magazine month. I didn’t want to come but now that I’ve a place I might. Be prepared to host.” Kripa declared.

“Anytime my only sister in law. Besides, look who’s pampering who” She said pointing to the tea.

“Dii you’re back.” Meher joined them rubbing her eyes.

“Time to get ready for dinner” Kripa left followed by Angad.

“Ah is it time for dinner already. Let me drink some tea and freshen up” Meher settled down in a chair picking up a tea cup.

“Meher I know Preet invited you for dinner but I don’t think you should” She played around with her words.

“Why Dii?” Meher held herself from spitting out the tea.

“You seem to be a bit tired, let’s not exhaust you” She held her smile.

“No I’m fine... besides I slept a lot I don’t think I’m sleepy anymore. I’ll look okay once I take a hot shower.” Meher tried to convince her. The whole point of this trip was to spend some time with Preet. How could she not go for dinner?

“Okay if you say so.” Heer didn’t push it further. Her mobile buzzed and it was text from Prem that he’ll meet them at the restaurant.

xxx

As they reached the restaurant, Meher was looking everywhere for Preet but didn’t seem to find him. He pretty much annoyed her all the previous times she was here but somehow while trying to plan for their siblings to meet, he seemed to be nice. Though they teased each other, they became friends. Last few days spending time with him, she seemed to have noticed a change in her feelings towards him. When he asked her to come to London with him, she didn’t think twice before saying yes. Was she falling in love with him? Did he have feelings towards her that he asked her to come? Should she talk to her sister? Now that she’s related to Preet, would she mind if things don’t go well? Many questions were ringing in her mind that she was trying to find answers for. His presence seemed to relax her a bit but here she was all alone. His eyes seemed to hold the key for all her questions that she didn’t want to leave his gaze. Where was he?

Once they sat down in the chairs, Heer mentioned that she asked him to leave early and sleep so maybe he must have slept. Heer called him twice but no answer. As they ordered drinks, he came running

“Sorry everyone. I slept and forgot to set an alarm.” He said as he sat down in a chair opposite her.

“It’s okay Preet. Thanks for organising this” Angad said enjoying the ambience and the views.

“Where’s PB?” Preet asked, noticing the empty chair on the other side of Heer.

“He said he’ll come directly. Must be stuck in a meeting.” She said checking her mobile to see if there’s any message. He texted he'll come directly on time but he wasn't there when they came and didn't respond to any of her texts or calls since then.

As they were busy eating the starters,

“Sorry I’m late” Prem slipped into the empty chair beside his wife. He squeezed her hand, pleading with his eyes. She just nodded and turned her attention to Kripa, who sat opposite her. He knew he should have messaged her but too late.

The group had fun talking about the city, food and catching up with stuff. It was time to head home.

Prem tried to call a taxi to head home when Preet said,

“Let’s walk to the Millennium Bridge and get a picture. We can take the tube later. It’s their last night here, a slice of London.” Preet tried to convince the group as he wanted to get some alone time with Meher. Angad readily agreed and he walked ahead with Kripa. Prem tried to hold Heer as they walked while she ran ahead to join Kripa and Angad.

“Meher I wanted to talk to you” Preet started but stopped as Prem joined them.

The group took pictures and headed to catch the tube. As the doors were closing, the other two couples made it but Preet deliberately pulled back Meher and doors shut. He signalled that they’ll take the next one.

“Did you notice that?” Heer whispered in his ear, leaning in close to him as the tube was packed.

“Finally, you want to talk to me” His lips were dangerously close to her cheek as he spoke.

She had to hug him to steady herself as the tube halted suddenly. She pulled out and looked for something to hold onto but no luck and the people getting on seemed to push her further into him. He gave her a smug smile and she held onto his shoulders giving up.

“Fine you did text you’ll come directly but you didn’t and then you don’t reply or pick up my call. I do get scared you know. You don’t have to be elaborate, one text late would also do the job.” She knew he must have been caught up with something but just one text would have calmed her down.

“Sorry it won’t happen again” He knew he should’ve texted when the call got extended and in a rush to get there forgot to check his mobile.

xxx

They were back on the bridge again as Preet took her hand and guided her back there from the station. She didn’t say a word throughout the way back and neither did he. The silence was killing her so she finally said

“Such a pretty view.” He just smiled.

“Since when are we lost for words?” She focussed on the view ahead rather than him who was looking at her now.

He turned her face to look at him and said

“Since the time we started communicating through our eyes may be”

Her heart skipped a beat, was she going to get an answer finally? She lowered her eyes unable to match up to his intense gaze and blushed a bit.

“Wow you’re blushing... this is something I never even imagined in my dreams” When she agreed to come to London with him, he did think she might reciprocate his feelings but to see the effect he had on her gave him confidence.

She hit on his shoulder and started to walk away.

This was Preet Juneja after all, how on earth did she fall for him?

He caught up with her and pulled her hand so she fell in his arms.

“Leave me alone Preet” She struggled to get out.

“Never ever” He kissed her and she gave in.

Once they caught their breath back, Meher looked at him bewildered

“We’ll be late.. let’s go back” She pulled him back to the station. The whole journey they couldn’t help but grin at each other.

xxx

Once they were home, Kripa and Angad left to their room to pack and rest as they had an early flight.

“Should I call her?” Heer asked Prem.

“Why do you want to be a spoilsport Heer? Leave them alone” He said pulling her in his arms.

“I don’t know.. it’s just weird... Preet and Meher, who would have thought? They used to just annoy each other” She couldn’t work out how it could happen as they were always fighting around her.

“I know it feels strange but I have a feeling it’s better we wait until they tell us rather than pressure them. I mean we’re married so if we say something they might feel pressured to make it work. Let them be completely sure.” He didn’t want them to work it out for their sake. She was lost in thought.

“What?” He sat down on the sofa with her in his lap breaking her chain of thought.

“Just imagining if you’d be this rational with your kids in future.” She didn’t know why she thought about it.

“Well I’ll set such high precedence for my daughter that someone has to exceed expectations to match that” He rubbed his nose against hers.

“Oh really daughter is it? Looks like you’ve done your family planning. I mean you promised Meher rights to name our second born. Do you care to share your plans a bit?” She tightened the grip around his neck.

“All in good time Heer.. right now my only plan is to give all the attention to my future kids’ mother otherwise I might not have any kids at all.” He winked.

“You’re just ...” Before Heer could continue, the bell rang and she went to open the door. She opened the door to see both of them grinning like fools. She decided to be silent and opened the door wide for them to enter.

She went and joined Prem who put hand across her shoulder and both of them watched their siblings explain,

“Tube was stuck”

“Didn’t get a tube”

They both said at the same time.

“I mean we didn’t get a tube for a long time and then it stopped in the middle.” Preet explained.

“Did we ask?” Heer crossed her arms, she didn’t want to miss this fun. She saw them both turn different shades of red embarrassed.

“I’ll probably go.” Preet turned to leave.

“You can stay if you want” Prem suggested as he noticed them exchanging glances.

“No it’s fine I need to unpack as well and sort out a few things. I’ll text you once I reach” He said hugging Prem although the last sentence he focused on Meher.

“See you tomorrow Preet” Heer waved him bye and went to her room.

That's it for now... Hope it made sense. Years after Premeer I finally fell in love with a turkish couple coming across a random VM. I can't believe I used to watch their new show without subtitles just to watch it live.. 😛 Unfortunately it was cut short 😢 and now here I'm trying to focus back on Premeer to get over the loss... 😂

Awww such a sweet cute update however I was thinking to read a little more about premeer and their part. But it's okay as I get few little but sweet moments of premeer.

Meet scene was cute too. So, they are hiding their relationship from their siblings but they don't know their siblings aren't that dumb 😉

However, I m going to miss Angad Kripa 😭

Really looking forward to read more... please post soon this time.
