Kzk failed bec a certain section of fans were insecure that this season will be like prev season and pre will fall in love with bajaj .... Till date nothing of this sort happened but the side effect of it , anupre rail patri love was praised to skies , which led the makers to believe that they need only anupre chemistry to run the show and there is no need for a story. ....so? may be they are a desirable couple but they also need a story. The role of a good story was under emphasised at every point, n chemistry part was stressed. This is the kind of feedback they got from the audience and they messed their own story...

Anurag and pre as characters have only gone worse . No sense of maturity after the problems they faced ,same mistakes being repeated again, no trust , no communication .... Is this what thy r advertising as love ? At least one of them can act like a grown up but no.

.cmon show good meaningful scenes between them , whether its pain or hurt or love or jealousy or any emotion, if its love it shows automatically. But love itself has been a sore point here . In th4 name of love , two ppl have been shown extremely dumb and love between them, toxic. Communication they cannot show bec they wont have a story. Laughable .

No matter if komo plotted to make anurag believe that he is her husband , he believed her..he believed that komo is his wife ,still he is having an affair with pre , making her wear mangalsootra, trip fall catch , nok jhok , protection from komo..whatever..now he is married to komo he is again in the same mode. Nok jhok , hug, flirtation which can make anyone cringe , baseless love when he threw pre off the bridge..he is doing ssshh to snehas wound , when he threw pre in the river , 20 or 30 feet , he didn't do Ny ssshhh ...didnt care to check on her if she is alive, if their baby is safe ?

When pre married bajaj it was the same . ...whatever the circumstances were she was married to bajaj n she also accepted it....Marriage is anyways a joke to kzk2 writers , but I guess the tv audience still see it as sacred . Whatever love story has to be shown, show the characters to have the courage to leave their spouse and marry the person of their choice but no. This is how they brought "kasautis" , anyone will say .bas karo ! Dhaga shadi , and what other crap did they dish out. Shadi hai nai hai nobody knows.

Every little thing is blown up like komo and anurag have a daughter so anupre love is tainted. Seriously ? Diya should not be anurags daughter. Sneha should not be loved by bajaj ..prerna must not love bajaj....bajaj should be negative ...kuki kaushik r useless..chuck out komo....moh is negative. Nivi is negative.. so what's left ? Show anupre love story This is what the makers did n result is here.

Bold- this i think is the crux of the problem. every ITV show is in essence following the same template so viewers expect only one thing. this boxes the characters & restricts what they can & can't do thus affecting the context being shown. this doesn't work for a story like KZK, like said earlier this story is about the different facets of love. it's hard to do when the characters are pigeon-holed into the viewers prejudice expectations. the story suffers as well as the quality of shows being shown!

I usually dont do posts here much but wanted to put my thoughts on this one.

I don't think the show was doomed from the beginning but the writers made it doomed that is the biggest mistake that EK made when she made this so called reboot.

The thing that worked with Kzk season 1 was that they had story and superb characters in fact there the rail patri track was more visible. Anurag and Prerna loved each other but could never be together first because of other people and then because of their own misunderstandings and mistakes. But they remained connected to each other. They moved on in life Prerna with bajaj and even Anurag moved on with Aparna and Sam it is another thing that they both turned out to be pshyco. They met other people they grew with each other and far away from each other. They tried to be there for each other but they handled all other relationships well.

Season 2 it almost feels like they are trying to shove the so called immortal love track down our throats from the beginning. The show had just started and Naveen Babu track had started and already Nivi was shouting at Anu that you have feelings for Prerna. Let them breathe and let us breathe and understand Prerna and Anu whats the rush. Then they are are in love we dont get to see that they are in love their happiness their turmoil so how are we supposed to pine for them. Then comes Komolika and Anurag agrees to marry her so that he can save Prerna home home!!! are you kidding me? you think rajesh sharma would have wanted her daughters happiness or his house and there could have so many different ways to handle it infact they should have used this track to show how Anupre fight with all. But no sacrifice and then Prerna entering the house till day I dont know why she entered the house for Anurag fine then why she kept saying she hates him. They could have shown it as Anurag and Prerna plan to stop komolika before Anurag marries komolika but no more stupidity. And then the stupidity has been going on.

I never watched the show religiously but started watching for bajaj and I want to shake Ekta and make her watch her own show as punishment. Bajaj was such a well written character when it was introduced it was intriguing. Infact it was the only character that was different from season1. He had a past with the Basus there was some backstory there was some suspense but it all went out the drain. I know Prerna loved Anurag but she married Bajaj she married him that means something. And the way they ended the Bajaj track it has been one mess after another.

I know people say that Bajaj was not needed but tell me one thing if not that then what would have EK writer shown. One vamp who keeps coming between the main character doesn't that happen in every other show. What is the difference then what they would have shown there is no way the writer could have shown complex relationships like Anurag being stuck between Mohini and Prerna or maybe something where Prerna makes progress in life and Abhimaan type of track. That is not a trait in balaji shows. All they show is one vamp one couple and the tug of war.

Reboot was not doomed but they made it doomed by not thinking about how the story should proceed. They have themselves killed all iconic characters.

Anupre have never had room to grow and breathe!! None of their Kasautiis have any basis in reality. The same concept of kasautii could've been handled so beautifully using mohini, as someone here had said. Mohini and veena could've been ideal Kasautiis. I'm not an AnuPre fan but would have loved this concept & would have watched them come together & overcome some realistic kausautis to their love. it would have been great to see them tackle them together as an actual strong couple. If Bajaj had to be brought it, his intriguing past and equation with the Basus could've been explored. Even a concept of second chances, and moving on from your first love could've been explored better between Bajaj and prerna, making the majority of the viewers connect to them too. Prerna and anurag having separated could've tried to live their own lives. Pre as a single mother could've been employed by Bajaj a single father. As an anupre fan, I would've watched and connected to them. Because second chances can be beautiful when we'll executed. But instead we had a man holding a woman to ransom using her fiances life as Ransom. Every track has been like this. Each sacrificing for the other and in the process only causing grief, blackmail marriages, random falling in love without even having 2 sensible conversations, a handicapped man being attacked, the most idiotic krish knife stunt ending with the atrocious throwing over the bridge. 👏👏👏if the CV's had tried anything similar to what you've suggested KZK could have been a very successful show. It had the skeleton of the successful, previous iteration which they could have moulded & tweeked to make a fresh & modern reboot. they could have presented the different facets of love so beautifully, love, separation, heartbreak etc. It also had a talented bunch of actors, whose talent they wasted

Do we know how many times in this show komolika has tried to kill a baby? She once tried to stab a pregnant woman in the stomach. It was a nauseating and disturbing watch. 🤢

There has never been a single episode where the rotagonists have been happy without a looming kasautii.

What is there in this show to make it a pleasant watch for the average viewer who is spoiled for choices? Only fandoms who have their own favorites will stick to this snooze fest amen 👏

This show has exploited and exhausted every single thing that kept it running. Time to accept defeat gracefully and end it after doing justice to its lead pair atleast towards the end.

Had she not rushed into the Bajaj track in the first phase and instead continued with Vikrant track after Komo exposure, by making Pre work after marriage to support her family and then later use Mohini's insecurities to bring in Bajaj, the show would have not faced the wrath of the audience like this. But no. She was adamant to bring in Bajaj in the Swiss track itself because her cunning mind thought Swiss track dikhaake she will be able to get MR.B accepted by the audience. And the biggest hindrance she herself caused for audience not accepting Bajaj is the way she hurted the religious sentiments by breaking the dhaga. If that hadn't happen and they hadn't shown PreRish staying under the same roof mocking Anu's heartbreak, the bulk audience who left after that would have sticked for some more time. It's now 1year after ek chath happened. Only a finger count of episodes got back the audience who were there before Bajaj track happened.

I think one of the reasons S1 succeeded was because nobody knew what will happen next. You didn't have a story on day one. You didn't put a character on pedestal on day one. Every character mattered.

IMO being a reboot has worked against the show None of Ekta’s shows that are running currently can boast of quality writing . Every show of hers is about sindoor , women fighting for one man, kidnapping and more kidnapping but in all her other shows the audience do not know what will happen next .With kzk2 , every time it’s predictable . Anurag and Prerna comes together for a few minutes and boom next kasauti in the form of either Komolika or Bajaj comes ...the lamest possible sacrifices and forever Majboor lead characters . Where is the novelty? What is the point of watching a show when you know central characters and their story is doomed.

In season 1 Komolika and Bajaj became iconic because like hope4u said , these characters were new and hatke for that time. In season 2 they were introduced as iconic and the viewers were expected to just accept it with zero conviction in the writing. This might look like it’s coming from a biased AnuPre fan but before the forum turned toxic , I was looking forward to Bajaj’s entry and how he changes the dynamics between AnuPre . I wanted to see a a real love triangle but what followed was disappointing. . The person who forced Prerna into a blackmail/deal/whatever marriage tells her that he is her friend and if anything is worrying her , she can share with him.I couldn’t wrap my head around this . In S1 their relationship grew organically .Here all they did was throw words like trust, respect and understanding with nothing in the writing to support it. You(writers) cannot make a character connect with the audience by hanging on to the superficialities and sweeping the real issues under the carpet . This is just one example....there are many more . I am tired of Prerna’s joke of a revenge, Anurag’s Thornbird and soulmate jhaap. They keep repeating soulmates but the writing doesn’t justify it .The writers are confused even after 2 years.

The show survived this long only because of its star cast .If not for the actors and this addictive forum , I wouldn’t have watched it after the first year.I hope it goes off air soon. The cast and crew and even the fans deserve better
