I don't understand this woman card that Rhea is using. She's being judged because she's a woman? The media trial is because she's a woman? The whole nation is against her because she's a woman?

If the genders were swapped and a male was in her place then would anyone behave differently? Would anyone back off? Would the outrage be any less?

No! This is not about her gender, this is not about her being Sushant's girlfriend, this is not about her connections, her star power or lack of it. She cannot derail the argument by bringing in these useless elements.

It is purely about murder, money laundering and drugs.

If her sole intention is to prove herself innocent and find out what happened to Sushant then why wasn't that the prime focus of the interviews?

She gave elaborate descriptions of her euro trip and domes in hotel room, how they met, how they fell in love, how many doctors Sushant visited, what drugs he took, Sushant's family feuds and made horrible allegations like

1. Sushant and his father did not have a good relationship because his father left his mother.

2. Sushant's sister Priyanka tried to file a case against Sushant

3. Sushant's mother died of depression

Is this how a prime accused tries to prove herself innocent? Why doesn't she talk of facts? Why just say "I don't know" for the following questions :

she refuses to talk about the interaction she had with her drug dealer, she doesn't know anything about the hard drives, she doesn't know why or how Sushant died, she doesn't know when Sushant started having depressive episodes, she doesn't know where the 15 crores went, she doesn't know about any flats that were bought with the money coming from the companies formed by Sushant, Rhea and her brother.

The thing is Sushant was never hyped by biggies, and he wasn't one to employ cheap tactics for attention. I mean we've all seen the video where he respectfully moves to the side for Varun and Shahid to dance in the center. That's the kind of person he was, and that's why he has so much support now. We might not have followed his every move religiously but deep down we all knew that he was a good person. She called us sautanen but the fact is that I feel for him like I would for my own brother. That's the kind of pure love people feel for Sushant. Rhea could only dream about getting this kind of respect, but then again, people like Rhea do not care about these things. As long as they're rolling in money, all is good.
