you can get prescription for pure retinol cream at the doctors ..and it is subsidised by the government where i live lol costs me 10 bucks..i don't bother with LaMer or other expensive creams.. just put Vitamin C serum and hyaluronic cream.. and sunscreen at least SPF 50 day time .. and retinol cream 3 days at a time every fortnight..
botox doesn't stretch though, it just relaxes the muscles and numbs them so you dont use it..and long term lines don't form.. once you stop using it you go back to moving the muscles again ..you will remain the same, your face doesn't change LOL its not a facelift
Lol that's exactly what I do. I prefer using Vit C and Hyaluronic Acid in the morning, go on top with a oil controlling moisturizer, then SPF 50.
I've been using prescription retinol serum with niacinamide serum every night, followed with a soothing night cream...have been on retinol since a long time now.
I prefer pharmacy brands over big brands although the only big brands that worked for me were La Roche Posay and now MamaEarth. India's newly come up with a bunch of cheaper skincare brands which work better than the international ones.
If thats what Botox does then I've seen some horrible job where I live lol. I'd still prefer topical treatments, chemical peels and clean ups over that. Botox in 20s has actually gained popularity...but I've seen it making the skin worse over a period of time, they've looked older in their 30s if that's possible...possible because lines don't form that young (Indian skin is genetically blessed).
Taking care from a younger age would prevent most chemical treatments. I've seen sportswomen, yoginis and dancers having better skin while sticking to a good skincare routine and occasional dermat appointments for clean ups/chemical peels etc. It's important to know how your body functions and what would be the best for it before diving into "advanced" treatments.
