Below is a direct excerpt from Jiah's Wiki page. If this is how they handled this case, I have no expectations for SSR's either. What exactly happened to Sooraj Pancholi and Co? Nothing.

Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi, who was allegedly in a live-in relationship with Khan, was taken into police custody during the investigation of her suicide on 10 June 2013.[36] The Bombay High Court granted him bail on 2 July 2013.[37] On 3 July 2014, a year after her death, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was ordered by the High Court to further investigate the death.[38][39]

The High Court held a hearing on the matter, starting on 7 June 2016, following the Supreme Court's call to expedite the process.[40] On 1 August 2016 the CBI ruled out murder in the case. As per its investigations, the cause of Jiah's death was 'suicide by hanging'.[41] Khan's mother, Rabia, independently hired British forensics expert Jason Payne-James, who concluded in a 20 September 2016 report that Khan's hanging was staged and the marks on her face and neck indicate it was not simply suicide.[41][42]

In January 2017, nearly four years after her death, the prosecution requested that charges of sexual assault and murder be laid against Sooraj Pancholi.[43]

On 31 January 2018, nearly five years after her death, a court in Mumbai charged Sooraj Pancholi with abetting Khan's suicide.[44][45] The CBI submitted a list of 69 witnesses, including Khan's mother Rabia, the complainant, with the case to begin in March 2018.[46]

Victory? CBI is supposedly an impartial agency? 😆 They are a puppet of the govt.

@bold Exactly :/ I'm still hoping for any kind of miracle to happen though. I hope that they probe well into his financial documents, interrogate and observe all of those suspects, and don't give up until they can clearly connect all the dots. This case has intense public support so that will add to the pressure.
