I have a theory. I may be completely wrong (not the first time!), but I think a lot of people may be coming out to support now because of the forensic report. If the released forensic report is true, that takes the foul play element out of the situation. That would mean it is "safe" to support the CBI investigation because there will be no criminal repercussions to anyone for SSR's death.

Rhea is fighting for Jurisdiction. They don't expect a fair trial in Bihar. They don't care who investigates the case.

The Family is fighting for Jurisdiction & CBI. They want a CBI Inquiry and the case to be tried in Bihar.

Mumbai Police is Fighting to keep the case. It's shameful when a Department loses a case for incompetence.

CBI is asking to continue investigation in the case. They don't care where the case is tried.

Maharashtra is saying that its illegal for the CBI to enter Maharashtra without their permission and they don't give them permission. Also they're the only ones who can transfer the case to the CBI

Bihar is saying that it's their case since the FIR was lodged in Bihar and they have the right to summon the CBI legally.

There's 6 different parties and representations in this case but the media has done a good job of grouping Rhea with Mumbai & Maharashtra to confuse the layman and vilify her.

I have a worse theory. Maybe the Maha Govt has found out that the SC is going to rule in their favor and so the bolly cowards have been given permission to come out of hiding to show fake support.
