If SC approves CBI then Mumbai police has to control to investigate this case. They cannot say oh the case is closed or closing.

Fake news. Rhea's case has nothing to do with Mumbai Police. Mumbai Police is fighting their separate case. Rhea is fighting for jurisidiction, ie where the case can be tried. I'll be shocked if the case is tried in Bihar.

What's he doing fighting such a small case? Does anybody ever wonder that? Why does the Centre want to be a party in this case?

Vikas Singh's modus operandi has always been to shame his opponents in the media. He considers this a very important tool in a lawyers arsenal. He's stated so himself publicly in his lectures that a judge will think twice passing a judgement against you if the public sentiment is strong.

The point is, the family is in a very strong position. They're being represented by one of the best, the public and the media is on their side and the narrative is strongly on their side. The media war will continue but Vikas Singh will have them well prepared.

Isnt Satish Maneshinde the Special Public Prosecutor appointed by the Maharashtra govt in the Palghar case recently?? Explains how Team Rhea is getting covert support from the state police and govt.
