Anirudh is such a cutie pie here, be it being flirty with Bondu, his concern for her or pretending something is wrong with his bed🤣

Loved Som-Ani talk, never expected them to have such a deep bond, but liked it a lot.

But the lines that stole it for me were:

“ respect should be given to those who deserves it, no matter if they’re younger or elder to you. We can choose not to respect someone who doesn’t deserve it, without disrespecting them, we just have to find out the balance.”

These are so well written😳 and couldn't agree more with them. And mami has indeed been quite cruel.

Why does Bhaumik want someone to accompany Mini from RC house

Some ulterior motive or just because he thinks Mini is attached with these people? And why is Ani sending Bondita of all people?

Ani calling her his chaand is something I so want to see in the show, so thought of writing it down. and Yes, Bondita needs an assurance more than anything, she believes he is playing around with her confession. Aniruddh is hopeless in love, once experienced the solace of having her close to him, he is craving for it.

@bold About that, copy pasting:

One thing I've noticed is that Som and Mini knew him so much, while Mini refused to understand his actual feelings. But I believe Som can do that in the process of these 10 years, while growing up, which changed his perspectives and also caused him to soften up to Bondita. So in a way, from the initial episodes, I kind of picked it up that Som has a relationship with Ani which is special than his relationship with Batuk or any other member in RC haveli. :) Also, agreeing and understanding is different.

Som understands Ani, knows him but that doesn't mean he has to agree to it.

Bhaumik doesn't have any ulterior motive, he just wanted someone because apparantly Mini is attached to RCs from childhood and in my story he is oblivious about the major mishaps she caused to Rudhita.

Second Last Chapter of the Story. Tried to end it on Chapter 10 but it will be a hugeass chapter then. So broke it into two parts to save the romance for the final chapter. Not my best work, but hope you all like it.

CHAPTER 10

Aniruddh had welcomed the morning with what he termed as the most beautiful sight of the world, in his arms. He couldn’t say was it by accident or deliberate that he pulled Bondita’s little form into his arms, engulfing her same as the other night they spent together. Whatever it was, her radiant face comparing with the dawn had put the sun in a fix and Aniruddh knew it. Just like sun was the most attractive part of the horizon during a sunrise, the dark sindoor filling her partition enhanced her ethereal beauty. Aniruddh shifted the strands of hair which had disturbed her sleep and tucked behind her eyes, before caressing her face and getting up, controlling his urges to place a chaste kiss on her hairline and some other thoughts which were too dangerous to think of with his ladylove in his arms.

Aniruddh had been waiting for Bondita in the living room while Binoy was busy in his meeting room with the British Officials. Trilochan had left early in the morning for Balrampur and was expected to reach by evening. Batuk and Somnath were supposedly up and were getting ready to attend Saudamini’s Gaye Holud, just as Aniruddh and Bondita. Aniruddh’s eyes fell on the newspaper and he decided to take a look at it by the time Bondita arrives.

In no time, Bondita descended down the large stairs of the royal Roy Chowdhary Mansion. Her eyes instantly fell upon her husband’s form, which had attained a bit more manly features and became more rigid and masculine unlike his boyish physique in the early days of their marriage. Bondita could see the extreme similarity between her Sasur Ji and Aniruddh as she saw him, sitting on the couch were usually Binoy was to be seated at this time of the morning with a newspaper, today it was Junior Binoy with the same gesture and Bondita couldn’t help but acknowledge the striking resemblance, since Aniruddh had adopted a more mature look with slight stubbles adoring his sharp jawline.

As Bondita approached him, Aniruddh who felt her presence lowered the newspaper to acknowledge her presence. Aniruddh at her sight, gasped as he took in her beauty. She was adorned in a yellow Banarasi Saree with Red Borders, decked in heavy jewellery as a Roy Chowdhary Bahu should but what caught his attention the most wasn’t any of these aesthetic jewellery. The sindoor refilled stood in all its glory, screaming out to whom she belonged.

She belonged to the one, the one who belonged to her.

“Chalein Aniruddh Babu?” Bondita asked as she looked away, trying to bring Aniruddh out of his trance and also to put a break to her awe eyes as she saw Aniruddh in a typical Bengali Kurta, strikingly similar to the one he wore on their wedding, as she remembered. Aniruddh also looked away, as awkwardness seeped through him and then nodded, noticing Bondita was also in a similar state. Bondita walked in front of him and a mischievous Aniruddh couldn’t help but hold onto her hands as he stepped front to reach her, earning a shocked look from Bondita which was replied with a toothy grin from his part.

Aniruddh and Bondita walked inside the Bhoumik Mansion to see workers busy in getting everything ready for the Gaye Holud function of the princess of the house, literally the apple of everyone’s eyes. But Bondita’s eyes struck upon one person – Saudamini.

She was dressed in a very expensive looking yellow saree. But what baffled Aniruddh as he saw her and what sarcastically didn’t baffle Bondita was the fact that she was dancing in the middle of the house with no songs, while rose petals were falling from nowhere on her. Aniruddh looked at her like he saw an alien, Bondita for a moment looked at Mini and then shifted her gaze to her Pati Babu to see him all confused and frowining, Bondita bit her lips to stop herself from breaking into laughter. Aniruddh looked at Bondita, who didn’t look surprised but was amused and then he shifted his gaze towards the side to see Arnab Chatterjee, her supposed groom looking all lost in her mismatched performance. Aniruddh slapped himself in his mind thinking it was him during a time who forgot all kind of logic and got lost in this nonsense. Bondita couldn’t help but think about the reason behind the groom’s presence here but then brushed it off as the possibilities of work related matters needing him here hit her as Bhoumiks and Chatterjees were in a business deal following the wedding.

“Suprabhat!”

Aniruddh and Bondita were pulled out of their thoughts as they heard that familiar voice of Saudamini calling out for them. Aniruddh was out of his thought process but he slapped himself on his mind for the second time as he realized during the course of thinking his eyes were on Saudamini. Bondita greeted Mini with a subtle smile on her face, their relationship has been cold since the day Saudamini’s foul play along with Binoy was exposed. Saudamini smirked at Bondita and looked back at Aniruddh who had his lips pressed into a straight line in annoyance at her scrutiny.

“Phir kho gaye mujh me Aniruddh?” Asked Saudamini and Aniruddh looked at her, find her audacity to talk to him like that after whatever happened unbelievable. Plus her to be husband was standing some six foots away from them and she was trying to flirt with him? Aniruddh cocked his eyebrows, while Saudamini frowned; “Tch Tch, Badluck. You won’t get me even if you want.”

Bondita looked clearly uncomfortable at the exchange between the former lovers and flinched, she struggled to take her hands out from Aniruddh’s which was holding her tight since the moment they proceeded from their home. Saudamini noticed the little exchange while Aniruddh was annoyingly gritting his teeth at her.

“Chahe jitna bhi koshish karo, rishte jo zabardasti bandhte hai, tikte nahi.” Saudamini stated, looking at Bondita with an evil smile. Bondita’s eyes widened as her eyes shot up at Saudamini’s remark. It wasn’t like Bondita was a meek, vulnerable woman, but her values didn’t let her taunt the bride of the day, someone who should have been hopeful about her beautiful marital life ahead than trying to tangle up the past, plus the words she said was pricking onto the wound which wasn’t tend to, a wound which has been hurting her since forever. Bondita was just not being able to say anything and that was when Saudamini tried to make it worse for her, if not worst.

“Fir toh yeh baat tumhe samajhne ki zaroorat hai Saudamini.” Aniruddh said emphasizing on her name. “Yeh rishta jo tum bandhne jaa rahi ho, woh toh sirf ek saude ke buniyaad par tiki hai.” Saudamini gritted her teeth at Aniruddh’s savage reply while Bondita stood nonchalant in display but with storm in her eyes.

“Jo bhi ho, second choice humesha second choice hi hota hai.” Saudamini said, playing with her hair. Bondita’s eyes filled up with tears. If it was any other day she would have asked Saudamini to go to hell but whatever has been happening since the past few days has consumed all her spirits fully and she felt even more feverish as she heard all of it, making it almost impossible for her to react. She slapped of Aniruddh’s hands before running away from there, trying to get some fresh air.

Aniruddh instinctively tried to run behind her, but then he saw the retreating form of Saudamini who had a satisfied wicked smile on her face, which triggered Aniruddh’s infamous anger to an extend that he chose to follow Mini instead of Bondita.

“Saudamini!”

Saudamini turned as she heard Aniruddh’s monstrous call. He cared not to shout as he didn’t wanted to create a scene there. Mini approached Ani with a smile which instigated Aniruddh even more. She stood in front of him, waiting for him to speak up.

“Meri baat dhyan se suno.” Aniruddh said pointing his fingers towards her.

“Sunao!” Saudamini replied in a husky tone, trying to impress her but Aniruddh was fuming in anger.

Aniruddh closed his eyes and took a sharp breath, trying to control his overwhelming anger. “Tumne Kya Kaha? Zabardasti ke rishte? Shayad tumhe yaad nahi hai, mene khud apni marzi se vivaah kiya tha Bondita se, Aniruddh ne Bondita se apni marzi se vivaah kiya tha, uski jaan bachane ke liye.” Aniruddh said, while Saudamini looked away in ignorance.

“Aur tumhe chahta kaun hai? Shukar Maano, ‘Mini’ ki tumhe ek saude ke liye hi sahi koi toh vivaah karne ke liye tayyar ho raha hai. Warna kya, me chahunga tumhe? Itna bhi pagal nahi hu me ki apni samajhdaar biwi ko chodkar,” Aniruddh paused taking a look at her, his eyes spitting fire; “Tumhe chahne lagun.”

Saudamini looked at him in shock.

Aniruddh narrowed his eyes; “Aur tumse kisne kaha ki Bondita meri second choice hai?”

Saudamini opened her mouth to say something only to be interrupted by Aniruddh.

“Oh Ho! Kahi tum yeh nahi samajh baithi ki meri first choice, tum thi?” Aniruddh asked, glaring at her. Saudamini looked at him in confusion, expecting a clarification. No matter where they stood she was sure that she was his choice in some point of her life. Aniruddh continued; “Bohot badi galatfehmi hai tumhe Saudamini Bhoumik. Tum ek galti thi, tum meri zindagi ki sabse badi galti thi, ya kya keh sakte hai? Bachpana? Iske sivaai kuch nahi thi tum mere liye.” Aniruddh finished, his fists trying its best to control the anger rising up.

“Aur rahi baat Bondita ki, woh meri pehli ya dusri nahi, woh meri zindagi ki ek lauti choice hai. Aniruddh Roy Chowdhary ne sirf Bondita Das ko chuna hai apne liye apni zindagi me aur kisi ko nahi. Yeh baat tum... khair, farq nahi padta ki tum yeh baat samjho ya nahi.” Aniruddh said. Saudamini was red in embarrassment and anger, Aniruddh wiped his face with his hands, exasperated as he turned on his heels to walk away while Mini was glued to the floor.

“Ek aur baat.” Mini’s bowed head shot up and she saw Aniruddh back in front of her, Mini looked at her, her eyes faltering at the embarrassment and the way he just defeated her in a war of words so easily. No wonder he is a Barrister!

Aniruddh pointed his finger sharply at Saudamini; “Agli baar Bondita se aisi baatein karne se Pehle ek baar sochna. Iss baar kuch nahi kaha woh uska sanskaar. Agar woh kuch kaha, toh tum seh nahi paogi, ek kone me baithkar roogi tum. Woh Bondita hai, Bondita Roy Chowdhary aur tumhare kutarqo ko apni tarqo se yunhi, chutki me gaayab kar sakti hai woh. Zara bachke rehna uss se.” Declared Aniruddh and walked away from there while Saudamini’s ego was completely destroyed by merely some words of Aniruddh.

Aniruddh frantically walked towards Roy Chowdhary Haveli, with his anger not subsiding. As he walked inside, the first person he saw was Mr.Binoy Roy Chowdhary. Suddenly bits and pieces of his conversation with Somnath the last day rushed into his mind and in the state that he was in the moment made a confrontation with Binoy inevitable.

“Baba!” Aniruddh called in a rude tone and Binoy Roy Chowdhary who was back at his couch with the newspaper during a break from a hectic meeting with the British Officials, looked at Aniruddh in a questioning way.

Binoy taunted; “Tum gaye nahi Saudamini ke Gaye Holud Ke liye, Apni Patni-”

“Meri Patni Hai woh!” Aniruddh declared, almost in a way the whole of Roy Chowdhary Mansion can hear it. He repeated in a meek tone; “Meri Patni hai Woh Baba.”

Binoy stood up. “Haan toh mene kab kaha ki woh... woh ladki tumhari patni nahi hai?” Asked Binoy, playing the fool, his disgust for Bondita evident in the tone used.

Aniruddh glared at him; “Woh meri Patni hai Baba. Aur uss se aapka aise bartaav karna, accha hai kya?”

“Mene kya kiya?” Binoy raised his eyebrows.

Aniruddh gritted his teeth; “Aapko kya lagta hai mujhe pata nahi hai?” Binoy shrugged, which provoked Aniruddh even more. It seemed like Binoy had mastered the skill of instigating Aniruddh and touching his wrong nerves more than anyone else. “Aapne jhoote ilzaam nahi lagaye Bondita par? Us se nahi kaha ki uski vajah se mera jeevan hi kharab ho gaya! Aur kya kya bola aapney Bondita se? Aur kitne jhoot Baba?”

“Suno Aniruddh Mene Koi Jhoot Nahi Bola Hai Uss Ladki Se-”

“Bondita naam hai uska Baba! “ Aniruddh clarified.

Binoy pushed his glasses up; “Haan Bondita se. Jo bhi mene kaha sach kaha. Nahi ayi thi woh tumhare aur Saudamini ke beech? Nahi khoya tum apna pyaar? Nahi karna pada tumhe bohot kuch tyag? Aur kyun? Kiske liye? Uss Ladki ke liye jo tumhare liye kuch kiya hi nahi aaj tak? Patni woh hai aur seva kar rahe ho tum uske liye.”

Aniruddh looked away in disbelief, hearing the words of venom spitted by his father.

“Aapko me yaad dilau ki Bondita ko Yahan ‘me’ lekar aaya tha. Woh nahi ayi thi kisi ke beech. Aur rahi baat meri aur Saudamini ki, me aur woh, kabhi hum nahi the aur me iss baat se bohot aanandit hu ki me aur woh... Saudamini kabhi hum nahi baney. Aur Bondita ke liye mene jo bhi kiya, sab apni marzi se kiya aur aage bhi karta rahunga, jab tak kar payega tab tak sab kuch karega Bondita ke liye yeh Aniruddh!” Aniruddh declared, gesturing with his hands. “Aur yeh kahan likha hai ki sirf patni hi seva kar sakti hai? Pati Patni, ladka ladki sab barabar hai yeh me kayi saalon se keh raha hun aap logon se Trilochan Kaka tak maana yh baat aaj tak aap nahi samjhe Baba? Bondita ki seva karna mere liye garv ki baat hai aur aapse kisne kaha ki woh meri seva nahi karti? Iss ghar me mujhe, meri bhavnao ko, mere jazbaaton ko, uss se zyada koi samajhti hai? Mera saath uske alawa koi diya hai aaj tak? Uss se bada kya seva ho sakta hai Baba aap bataiye?”

Binoy stood baffled at Aniruddh’s explanation.

Aniruddh continued; “Aur rahi pyaar ki baat. Mene apne pyar ko nahi khoya Baba. Kyunki Me Kabhi Saudamini se pyaar karta hi nahi tha! Mera pyaar mere paas hai, mere saath hai, mere dil mein hai aur woh hai Bondita Aniruddh Roy Chowdhary!” Aniruddh declared. He folded his hands together and pleaded; “Me abhi jahan bhi hu, jaise bhi jee raha hu, bohot khush hu. Isliye aap please, Bondita se aur meri khushiyon se dur rahiye Baba kyunki jitna mene dekha hai, Aapko kabhi meri Khushi hazm hi nahi hota.”

Aniruddh stormed off while Binoy sat down on his couch, feeling completely defeated. However two people on the balcony were listening to everything, one nodding with a slight smile on his face- Somnath, along with Batuk who was finding it difficult to process all the information that just went into his brain.

“Batuk, mene kaha tha na. Pyaar ho gaya hai Dada ko Bondita se!” Somnath said as he passed a smirk to his younger brother who stood their all lost. Batuk managed to nod slightly while Somnath asked him a question; “Tumne Bondita ko dekha hain kahi?”

“Woh..toh.. ro rahi thi, aur chhad ki taraf jaa rahi thi...” Batuk mumbled as he was still busy taking in the happenings and this sudden flip in Aniruddh’s demeanour.

Somnath slapped his brother on his back as he instructed; “Toh hum Yahan kya kar rahe hai? Chalo tum!”

“Gaye Holud me?"

"Nahi Pagal!" Somnath teased.

Batuk asked; "Toh kya Chhad par?"

Somnath smiled as he said; “Chhad par toh hum jayenge uske Pehle rasoi me chalo, Roshogulle ki haandiya leni hai!”
