People are naming Hrithik?
He's an all rounder. Perhaps the only male all rounder to come from bollywood. Handsome, great dancer, good actor
Everyone. They would not have got first movies they got being star/chunky kids
They would not have got movies in TVs also
Ppl like Alia (average) would have got their first movies after 25 like Vidya ( Vidya is definitely a lot better than Alia)

IMO I kind agree if his father hadn't launched him and than relaunched him three times he would have been no where. He is an average actor. Looks and dancing pulled him through for the most part.

If they would have been outsiders ? None
As insiders , they are given enough chances and still if they are not able to make it , their loss. No outsiders are given this level of chances. Like some one mentioned long back, Oustider ko critic/audience kamane mei 10 saal lagte hain pehle to, forget about getting continuous chances.

I think he's a fantastic actor (and a few of his most acclaimed roles have no dancing) but regardless he's by far the greatest asset in any film made by his father. He's largely what made KNPH and the Krrish series enormously successful. His father knew how to use his talent but HR delivered and became a phenomenon - and not because of his last name.
Rakesh Roshan did not want HR to become an actor because of the hardships and struggle he experienced as an actor for 20 years. So they made a deal that while HR studied and trained to be an actor he would work as an assistant learning the film biz from the bottom up (6th Asst to Associate Director) until he was 24. HR said on Film Companion that he didn't imagine his father would ever launch him.
If Shekhar Kapur hadn't left India to make Elizabeth he would have launched Hrithik. Shekhar also said that he developed Paani with HR in mind during that time. HR had already signed on to do Fiza and Vidhu Vinod Chopra Mission Kashmir and had filmed one and was filming the other before KHNP came out.
Without his father his trajectory and filmography would have been different but I have little doubt he'd still be star. For example, if HR hadn't done Krrish he'd have done Rang De Basanti which he had to turn down because of dates.
Rakesh Roshan is a tough and practical man yet he mortgaged his house and cars on KNPH instead of getting a name actor who would have got him financing because he knew what he had in Hrithik. It's why he said HR will make movies with other directors but he'll never direct another lead actor because he knows Hrithik's worth. That worth has made the Roshans enormously successful and wealthy.
If he failed, as he has, he would have got up and tried again. He overcame a debilitating stammer and still practices speech therapy every day. When he was diagnosed at 21 with Scoliosis the Dr told him he would become paralyzed if he became an actor because of dancing and action requirement would put too much pressure on his spine. He decided he'd rather have his dream for a short while than not at all. Then he trained his body to withstand the punishment. He's danced through torn ligaments brittle bones and slipped discs. He's acted with a blood clot in his brain and then with a hole in his skull when even the sound of his own voice gave him excruciating pain. He's not only talented, he's tough and determined.
Hrithik deserves to be BW just cos of his god looks alone . Give one outsider who is more good looking than him ??
