Abusive relationships

Since DMG has changed the track and we are seeing the angry side of armaan now. I was wondering if we could discuss about abusive relationships.

Don't you guys feel that the way creatives are portraying Armaan, he resembles more to an abusive partner than a caring lover. If, let just think for a moment, they were trying to teach us about abusive relationship through the show. Do you suppose what Ridhima did, backing out of it, was the correct thing to do???? If not,

Please leave some comments as to what should a girl do if she is in an abusive relationship?????? What are the first signs of abusive relationships???

please answer as this is one of the major concerns of women in India and across the world and being part of the new generation, I think we all should take time to improve these situation for us and others in the society.

Here is what one of the health website has to say about forms of abbuse read it:

-harms you physically in any way, including slapping, pushing, grabbing, shaking, smacking, kicking, and punching
-tries to control different aspects of your life, such as how you dress, who you hang out with, and what you say
-frequently humiliates you or making you feel unworthy (for example, if a partner puts you down but tells you that he or she loves you)
-coerces or threatens to harm you, or self-harm, if you leave the relationship
-twists the truth to make you feel you are to blame for your partner's actions
-demands to know where you are at all times
constantly becomes jealous or angry when you want to spend time with your friends


Please silent members do participate. This is a topic related to social issue and I know everyone in this world does not have time for solving other people problems but, sometimes just by giving an opinion in these kinds of topics, does matter. There are about 300 people who has viewed this topic and only 20 has posted something. I encourage everyone to please say something, not just about Armaan and Ridhima but also about real life relationships.

armaan was being quite aggressive towards riddhima,my mom was watching it and she was like.."bechari ko mardega kiya?"....lol

he was being really rough to her...the way he was hurting her hand and twisting it and everything..it was really abusive...

i hated this Armaan type 😆

Definition of Abusive Relation: Abusive relationships are characterized by extreme jealousy, emotional withholding, lack of intimacy, raging, sexual coercion, infidelity, verbal abuse, threats, lies, broken promises, physical violence, power plays and control games.

Abuse is when a man hits frequently and unpurposefully.

Has Armaan ever even gone to the limit of hitting her?? No. Does he do so without a reason? No.

Before we knew the past of Armaan...would we even have ventured to ponder about this thought? No.

From the start of the show...all Armaan has done...is been a caring, understanding, loving...doctor, friend, lover.

I keep on repeating that Armaan is in a state of helplessness right now. He does not understand what he'd doing at the moment. All he cares of is to make Ridhima confess somehow. Anyway. In the process, a little of Ammy has come forward.

But, we can definitely say...that the Armaan we know...is never capable of performing such an act!

Also, I want to point out this:-

Yea I agree. I know he's mad, and its justified, but he didn't have to do that to her.

The way he twisted her hands scared me. Poor Rhidimma, I guess this is what she feels everyday. :(

Ridz hurt Armaan mentally, but he's hurting her physically, and I don't want A-R's relationship to turn into an abusive one

umm... i dont really think he is abusive...yes its true he shouldnt have done wat he did today like trying to kiss her and stuff but hes not an abusive partner...actually hes a very caring and loving partner who cares bout ridz alot but is just a little (ok maybe alot..lol) frustrated at her rite now... 😊
but yes i do agree tht alot ofwomen do have an abusive relationship but are afraid to say it....as for the first signs of an abusive realtionship...um...maybe if he threatens to kill you or sumthin...ok myabe im just sounding crazy 😆 ...lol

Its really sad the way things are goin in Dil Mil Gaye.

I miss the romantic Armaan and Riddhima but this track is very realistic.

Such things do happen in relationships.

Im sure all will be fine and this will make them both even stronger.

Just the work abusive near Armaan's name is making me sick. He's such a nice character.
