Exactly yaar! Because how long can you really watch two people romancing? There are so many shades of us and so many people are connected to us.
You see, the more I am watching (I have completed upto 9th Epi), the more I am praising the writer. Because the logic was quite on point.
Poltu - He was the serious one
Brijesh - Jugad karne wala
The healthy guy, I have forgotten his name - He was a good supporter
When Suman came out of nowhere and said Shadi Karna Hain, they actually pointed out that they could only do filmy type mandir wala shaadi because it takes time and you have to go through lengthy procedure to register your name.
Woh baat alag hai MaNal ka dimaag kharab ho gaya tha, but it was Brijesh whose father was a lawyer and he had many connection so he could arrange one register. Then again, I am happy that they didn't show the register to be denying because of PP and then getting convinced.
PP was the head of his town but they had gone to another. And it was because at that time there was protest going on for honor killing in PP's town which was telecast on News. So when he saw their surname, he refused because of their caste difference and not because PP had an upper hand in that city too.
So Poltu lecturing on Constitution and their rights wasn't totally illogical. Yes, hum aap ka kisse humare bacche ko sunayenge, that was typical daily soapish but it had coherence.
So the entire sequence was done quite well.
