“One of the advantages of being alone in this Coronavirus lockdown is that I can do whatever I want on my own time,” says actor Jennifer Winget, who is self-isolating at home with her dog. “Many people are concerned that I am alone in this quarantine, but it is fine. Sure there’s anxiety sometimes, but I am coping. I count my blessings, and hope that we will all sail through this,” she adds.
Winget, 34, admits that she is “busier at home, doing chores, than while shooting”. “Cooking is not my forte, but I manage with help from friends and family on video call. Cooking, cleaning and taking care of my mutt takes up a lot of time. So, the day passes by quickly. Once the lockdown is over, I won’t miss cleaning for sure (laughs). I don’t force myself to do anything, and go with the flow. It is important to maintain the mental and physical balance,” says the actor, who has taken up painting to “de-stress and heal” herself.
“So many people are working from home... One needs to set a schedule and take breaks. We should work on ourselves, focus on fitness, a hobby or just spend time with family,” she ends.
