Acha so she kept quiet because according to her people should not pay heed to rumors. Then why is she paying heed to the allegations that she kept silent for too long?

Let it be. She knows the truth right? That should be enough.

When it comes to her, she's coming clean. But when it was about Sushant she kept silent even when speculations were rife and rumor mills were churning utter rubbish which many people believed. (even me).

Accusations of sexual misconduct can never be dismissed as just another rumour. It can seriously damage a person's reputation and it did in sushants case.

Earlier she had only spoken about how she was abroad and didnt know what was happening, therefore it took her time to clarify the situation. Now she says she and Sushant discussed it together and she encouraged him to first put up the chat screenshots and when that didn't work, she issued a statement.

This appears to be her attempt to erase her guilt about not clarifying what happened sooner. How come she's only speaking about it after his death? I cannot like this girl.

Rumours? Was is just that? An allegation of sexual harassment that too towards a teenager can be brushed under rumour? A rumour that made him puts his chats and as still was questioned. Lets just understand one thing a guy, cannot just cannot save himself from an accusation as grave as this, just by saying oh I did not do this. Have we forgotten what happened in Dangal girl's case. Its pretty easy to believe "oh the guy molested the girl", than "oh no, that cant be he is a nice guy" or a "that girl is lying." On the basis of this rumour he was being questioned at Kedarnath promotions. You can see that video and know how uncomfortable he was and how lost he was. He wants to speak for himself and yet is unable to do. He was left to do it all alone

First she said she was not here when allegations started and had no internet connections to know whats happening , then she said he asked her whether these chats could be posted, so that means this was happening and then she said when that did not work she posted that her statement which was as cryptic as it can get. So much of contradiction?Why not speak about how you adore that guy, like she has been speaking since his death. That would have shut every one up. Like i said the other day this girls one statement on how he is ..the same one that she has been doing since his death , could have saved him from character assassination or a "holding his hand gesture" from his leading ladies when he was being asked about these allegations, as well. No one wanted to get into this mud, for their personal benefits.

If attempt to molestation/molestation of a girl is a grave sin, so is a wrong accusation on a man. We create an uproar in the first case, is the same uproar created when a man is wrongly accused for something as grave as molestation. Imagine him being a nice guy and all ,already suffering from his personal demons, already being talked about as arrogant and what not, skirt chaser and then comes this allegation.

Why all these people involved with Sushant's case, give a different answer all the time. The contradict their other statement and then they want everyone to keep quite, and let him rest in peace(which again no one knows how to decide or draw a line to).

No matter what she says, there is no justification for why she kept quiet for so long. If a person I adore so much (as she claims to adore Sush) was accused of molesting me I would immediately go and put an end to such stories without even discussing with the other person. Sexual harassment is a very serious matter, it isn't some random link up or dating rumour.

Exactly my point , when the guy is constantly being questioned, as to defend himself , its my responsibility to not just come out and speak against the allegations but also speak what she is talking now after his death. So now saying she has good to talk about him in all her interviews is not going to take away that grudge I have for her. Plus these contradictions, then she said she did not know about all this coz she was travelling and now she said he asked her about the chat before posting and then posted it.

Not every rumour can be ignored.

Strange that all these claims of adoring each other are coming out only now. Why was her clarification post so unemotional then? If she adored him so much she could have spoken at length about the kind of person he was and how he was just not capable of such an action.

If nothing happened, there was no reason not to clarify it at once, right? I dont understand what her reasons could have been for not clarifying things sooner but it sure as hell wasnt because she was 'off the grid' in America.

Sexual Harassment allegations in the midst of the MeToo movement which was such a hot topic at the moment could've been career ending. It's not merely just another "rumour off the mill." These allegations have ended a few careers already. Sajid Khan has gone underground after being booted off of the Housefull series, the entire AIB company got shut down because of MeToo and went bankrupt overnight, etc. This could've been career ending for Sushant as an outsider and it did damage his image and career. Not to mention, the frequent blind items after that didn't help the cause. You could literally see a shift in Sushants demeanor from a few years ago vs last year. This lack of judgement on her part is unjustified especially since she probably personally witnessed Sushant's turmoil at that time.

Was she holidaying on Mount Everest that there wasn't any network there??? This kind of an allegation is of the worst nature and she should have clarified immediately so that both her and Sushant would have been saved from getting dragged into the news articles. Something is so fishy about her and the whole episode revolving around the MeToo story. I'm just unable to go by what she says. There's more to it than what meets the eyes.
