Alia is box office 'queen' but for how long?

Read this post by a member and I agree with every word in it:

"...the only thing going for Alia apart from getting best of the best scripts carefully curated for her to showcase her acting ability is her talent. (She is a decent actress but she is not the goat some people and media hype her to be). She is not beautiful, lacks screen presence, have no star quality, have no oomph what so ever.

If she had debuted a decade or so ago she would have been outright rejected by the audience. It is just that she debuted in a time where good content can make a movie a hit. also she or her mentor is smart enough to know her limitations hence only get her roles suited for her looks and skill set only. Roles tailor- made for her. She is definitely not going to be a versatile actress because of her looks and lack of star quality.

My theory is the audience will reject her the minute a more prettier, more glamorous actress with good acting chops and immense screen presence come in to the scene. Indian audience have always been more enamoured by beauty, screen presence, dancing skills of actresses more than talent. "

Do you guys think she can be replaced easily? And if so, by whom?

Arre kaun King aur kaun Queen? yaha movie release ho nahi rahi hai. Bollywood pe taala lagne wala hai to kaun kisko replace karega? Agar kisi ko top mein rakhna hi hai to Alia kam se Kam top par rahegi jab tak ye corona ka chakkar khatam nahi hota.

things won’t be the same for her anymore. Her future films are more likely to flop, atleast solo ones. The future is more important than the past

Peak reached too fast, and also finished fast too.

No looks, average acting skills. People see through that eventually. I think half of the back lash on her is against her mediocracy. We don’t want mediocre no. 1 actresses to be honest
