I suggest you look into it more then. You brought up this whole dark circles and hyperpigmentation topic so I'm just educating you. There are many clinical studies performed where it proves that South Asian women are more susceptible to such conditions. ALSO, The "unattractive" photos you've posted of Sonam are paparazzi clicks caught off guard. The photos you've posted of Tripti are all photos of her well groomed and INTENTIONALLY taking them.
@Red Just because you pointed out the benefits of melanin afterwards doesn't mean what you were implying before was correct. That's equivalent to saying that "I can't be colorist because I have a dark skinned friend." I'm not sure you fully understand the significance of colorism in history my dear. For example,
@BOLD This is NOT colorism. I hope you understand that reverse racism or reverse colorism is a myth. If you go back in history, these terms were coined to describe the discrimination people faced due to the DARKER COLOR of their skin. This is literally from an online definition source and also in history that colorism " is the belief that someone with any degree of lighter complexion is considered to be more beautiful or valuable than someone with dark skin."
Let's not do this reverse "oh, but fair skin people also face this" psychology. Fair skin is STILL considered the standard of beauty in most parts of the world. So your points are filled with a bunch of contradictions and misinformation.
