Who else realised the blooper that Maya had no idea what transpired between Rudra-MJ but Rajeev did for whole ten years, and this was actually a very strong point that Maya could have used to break the whole Roy family in a snap.

I keep complaining of Maya not messing with Roy business and here's why. (I am bringing up so many serials here, sorry for that, but it's only for healthy discussion)

In Naamkaran, Avni first completely destroys the already fallen Mehta business, because Dayawanti had used her power to throw a kid at the dogs.

In Paanch, Roshni's one of early plans is to expose and finish Roy's drugs business, which, if not brings in the money for the gang, is actually where they get the drugs from and is one of the only thing Roy is actually concerned about, so weakens him ten folds.

In Ek hasina thi, Durga strikes the Goenka business not as hard as the above two, but to such an extent that they lose their main man, then later in the story, Dev usurps not only the chairmanship, but also the remaining power of Goenkas over Kolkata.

We don't see Maya doing any of this, and she has been planning for ten(eight) years. She just relied on ruining their family dynamics and failed at that too, so spectacularly.

We all know Anatara would have never stepped up against MJ, that was clear even in the first epi, so the party plan is flop(but Jennifer got to flaunt her tattoos, so I ain't complaining). Killing Rishi was a very smart move, but only softened Rudra to his family and eliminated her other contender for marriage, so gave Rudra a easy road to fill her maang with sindoor.

Then she again used Antara and asked her to divorce MJ, and if you thought that would work, that was actually very sloppy writing by the CVs, because Antara didn't want the money, she always wanted the power. Why else would she stay in the marriage for so long, even Rudra could give her the riches she wanted, heck, she herself could step up and start working, but doing that means challenging the already challenged position of MJ Roy's wife.

Many say that Maya is grey and won't hesitate to kill, which makes her different, but honestly, all the other three leads I mentioned did too. Roshni caused Roy's arm to be amputated, Durga made Shaurya paralyzed waist down and Avni was hell bent on killing Dayawanti on her marriage day. But the thing about these three is that they hurt the person who hurt them, an eye for an eye, not an eye for a kidney.

Also, in Paanch, when Roshni's identity is out, they immediately go on to attack her, and not in the safety of her college (though it was co-incidental they found the truth outside) and in Naamkaran too, Avni is kidnapped on the first instance Dayawanti lies her hands on her, because that is the first instinct anyone could have had, just grabbing Maya's throat (in front of Ananya, who could have been a witness had a cop entered the picture if Maya was smart) and warn her and then torture her, making Rudra hate you more is why Aamir handles your business, MJ, you dumb, man! It was as if MJ was asking for more blows(not those, you naughty folks) from Maya herself before killing her.

I am just saying, that for a series with three serials already based on revenge and the whole Naagin series, this one has been very lazily written. Every plan of Maya's was co-incidental. In bid of exposition, they lost a very strong plot point. They wanted to make stuff dark, but could have easily done that with MJ himself, instead of focusing on making Rudra the dark one (in the later half of the show, time wasted)

Maya is a form of Manvi, she can't kill her old self to be a new one, but has to emerge stronger and for a major chunk of today's timeline she couldn't get rid of her fear and only when Rudra was in danger did she snap, so how is she different form other leads? Every ITV lead has killed someone at some point of the story, or people have assumed she has.

We could have got a more better thriller had CVs not wasted time on MayRi and MayRa, and to be thinking of it, Mayra kiss was just a fan service, no offense to the fans here. If they do come up with a new season, they should really sort out the genre of the series, because an ambiguous genre only worked for Naamkaran and Naagin series, and no other revenge ITV drama

(Also, in Ek hasina thi, Nitya undergoing a plastic surgery but changing her height and voice and face shape was a miracle of science or the casting director's fault? And Avni just happening to come across the CD with her father's death video, very nice hiding spot there Mr. Mehta! Paanch mein last mein how did she manage to empty the college and get the college structure to fit into her plan? See, m critical of everything, and not biased against Beyhad 2)

Writer hadn't slept last night after watching a detective thriller and another drama movie, so excuse her callousness

@ bold 2 didi ko bas gurdo mein ungli karna aata tha. Eye for an eye kya karti she was freaking afraid even hearing MJ’s heel clicks.. tik tok tik par to apne khud ke naakhun haath mein ghusaati thi.🤪

Rudra ko virgin bolti hoon becuase after the young age of 20, he started running away from women and loked like from a young age was looking for a soulmate, which Rishi didnt want, he just wanted to date and fool around, he just fell truely in love with Maya
