I love Aishwarya as an actress, but I have to agree that she was very cringey in the initial part of Dhoom 2 especially the dialogue you mentioned. It gets better though, thankfully.

I don't know if the word is jhalli, but its like this girl from the village comes to the city, starts wearing short clothes and tries to fit in. Thus the "are you like checking me out" dialogue
