Some police seniors in our neighbourhood said they know he is guilty but it's only circumstantial evidence that won't help in convicting him. So they did the best they could by ensuring he spent the max time possible in jail ie 3 months. And when hearings were held as expected there were industry people who backed out from their statements to the police. Very few like manju stood their ground.

Oh, he did this. There were many reliable sources that confirmed his role in this case. It was a good plan, but he didn't expect the actress to approach the police, it wasn't an expected outcome. She showed the guts because that night when she approached directer Lal (after the incident)
a political member was there and he encouraged her to file the complaint.

Kavya is plain stupid. She is so much in love with that guy. The way she looks at him is what any guy will kill to see from his loved one. She will actually be the perfect wife for dileep. After having worked for so long I think she just wants to be a housewife and will have no issues sitting at home while he sleeps around or does whatever he wants. You have to hand it to her for getting what she wanted. I don't see any regret in how she broke up a family just to have a married life of her own.

Yes Nag's first wife Lakshmi (also mother of Naga chaitanya) is Venkatesh's sister and daughter of Daggubati Ramanaidu. 😆 They all are pretty close Knit despite Nag-lakshmi's divorce.

Yeah he was banking on victim shaming to dissuade her from approaching the police. Not to mention the videos that would have been the lock to her never speaking up. But because everything went to police so quickly and became such a big issue, his biggest treasure the videos became the biggest incriminating factor and can never be released now.

I think there are two Lakshmi's in that family.

I checked the family tree 3-4 times to make sure that the wife didn't leave one brother to marry the other brother.😆

I don't think Manju cares enough to pick a bone with Dileep. Esp since her daughter is staying with Dileep.

Mammooty tries to stay out of any controversy. He will never take sides.He never talks about the controversial things. Even when RGV went on a drunken rant against him on twitter, he just kept quiet. But maybe they don't want an enemy in Dileep. He has a very bad reputation. A lot of people say Dileep is like a gunda. I was so shocked when this news broke, I used to like Dileep so much coz of the fun comedy films he did. Now I cant stand the guy's name, let alone seeing his face or films.

Did Mohanlal support Manju? I thought he removed AMMA's ban on Dileep. AMMA had banned Dileep from the industry after this news came out. Mohanlal was bashed left right and centre for being spineless. I guess I am missing something.

Bhavna used to be so lively. I felt so bad to hear about this incident. My heart goes out to her. Terrible.

Tollywood is as bad as Bollywood when it comes to people who got limited talent given big launch, big projects..

But Tamil and Malayalam movie industry are really amazing.. Because audience expectations are really high, if you can't act or can't get their approval, then its over for you.. You have nice balance of nepo kids and self made superstars and they all have talent.. You wouldn't see average talented, average looking with zero sex appeal like Alia lasting more than 2 movies.. Same goes for Ranbir - you cannot survive in these industries with planting fake blinds, famous for your breakups and average movies..

I love Tamil movie industry and got so much respect for the audience for always promoting talent over labels /looks.. I mean Vikram, Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi , Suriya, Ajith, Dhanush, Madhavan, Siddharth to name a few and then nepo kids like Simbu, Prabhas etc.. They are all super talented and very versatile, they dont stick to one character. They have nice balance of people who can act and bring magic to screens, compared to Bollywood. This gen Bollywood got more nepo products than non star kids - shows the reality of the situation.
