South Indian movie industry is the worst. All the top actors are relative of some popular male actor. Female actors are the biggest flower pot of the century. South Indian movies can be made without any female actor as these ladies have negligible role.

An average dark skinned south woman cannot be a female lead. It is only for fair skinned ladies.

Not a star kid, his family owned the oldest production house in Mollywood, Udaya studio. Kunchako Boban entered the film industry with the connections but by that time Udaya studio ceased to be in business because of financial liabilities.

industry kid. His family owned udaya studio and navodaya studio. His uncle is appachan the producer of my dear kutticharhan, mohanlal's 1st manjal virinje pookal etc. Don't know why he stopped in the 90s because I think most of his movies were hits.

Anyway that's why all old time actors are fond of Kunchako

I saw the Akkinenis at Rana's engagement and I was like how are they so close😆. Google has their whole family tree, they are related to every major family. I did not know they are all related😆 But I am a Mallu and have never seen any Telugu/Tamil film, so m not surprised I did not know.

This is interesting info. I wasn't aware. Also I have never heard about Udaya and Navodaya studios. I just googled it to find out more about it.

Ohh! Kunchako and Baby Shalini were quite the hit pair. I have seen 1 film of theirs, I forgot the name of that film though. Some college romance types. It used to air every week on Asianet when I was a kid.

Actually Mallu actors ka dressing sense itna bura hai that it is very hard to tell that they are such rich people. They are so unkempt and badly dressed most of the time.👎🏼

Govt can't do anything in these kinds of judicial matters. Some police seniors in our neighbourhood said they know he is guilty but it's only circumstantial evidence that won't help in convicting him. So they did the best they could by ensuring he spent the max time possible in jail ie 3 months. And when hearings were held as expected there were industry people who backed out from their statements to the police. Very few like manju stood their ground.

He has a lot of contacts from what I hear. Ministers and all who are in power right now.

Has he been acquitted? Or is he still out on bail?
