Yes, a few years ago immediately after police arrested one of the carriers from Kochi airport, his name was mentioned in an online newspaper. But after that no news, no investigation, nothing. That newspaper usually gives real news, many controversial cases were published in it first.

Yes, nepotism exists in the south film industry however there is a scenario of equal opportunities and for outsiders and industry kids to co-exist and thrive.

Reasons why, its coz there are no 4-5 productions houses holding power, hence there is no media control nor is there any PR or talent management.

When all of these are to the minimum or non-existent, you can see both insiders and outsiders thriving. South Film industry is such that, anyone with talent can thrive be it Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu or an Aditi Balan or a Soubin Shahir or a Vijay D, Ajith or a Lakshmi Menon, etc

They can all thrive, make it big. That's the big difference.

tollywood is also full of nepotism but they are all 'talented' who iosnt?

mahesh babu, allu arjun, jr ntr all are talented and also good dancers but yes tollywood is dominated by nepotism

only recently vijay deverakonda is an outsider who has gained huge stardom

She actually went on record to say 'I forced my father to marry Kavya'. No one says that. She of all the people would know that they were having an affair.

I can still believe she hates Manju but I can't believe she would force her dad to marry a woman he was having an affiair with, while married to her mother.

Then in 2017 there were reports that Meenakshi did not want to stay with Kavya. Who knows what these people are doing.

I don't think they meet. Even when manju's father passed away dileep brought her for a short time. 2-3 days later the girl posted a video of her having fun and dancing with friends. It's like her mother's whole family was her enemy

She loves her father a lot and he spoilt her while manju was the disciplinarian. I used to find their reasons for the divorce weird.

Dileep: one day manju went off in the morning (presumably after a fight with him) without combing my daughter's hair.

The girl was 12 or so around then and had shoulder length hair.

Daughter: father kept dance master for me and before I knew it he became my mother's dance master

I found this very funny at that time. Somehow I think the girl doesn't appreciate her mother's talents and has imbibed the father's thinking that women belong in the kitchen to look after the family.
