Are We Afraid of China?

Our PM now says nobody came into the Indian side, or made any posts in Ladakh. This is after 20 Indian jawans are killed in a face off with Chinese army. However, the Ministry of External Affairs has clearly mentioned in its statements about Chinese intrusions.

So who is lying? Both cannot be telling the truth as two statements are completely opposite.

Also, we did surgical strikes for Pakistan, but nothing against China till now. Are we afraid of the Chinese?
