Now if people say suicide is not solution people will keep comments at us saying we are being harsh towards the people suffering. We don't have sensitivity towards people facing depression.

Such stupidity if u ask me

see, this is why that Vivek Oberoi's post makes sense...... Saying suicide is not a solution is necessary, not for the unfortunate dead person cause he is already gone, but for others who might contemplate it, looking at their idols.....

Today's generation's entire upbringing needs to be restructured. We are nurtured to a point that we can't handle a simple 'No' after demanding something. We are so used to being provided with everything we demand that we can't handle rejections anymore. Be it at home or any field.

With so much rise in competiton, we are going to fail at one point and it's okay to fail sometimes. We should be able to digest success and failure both. There are going to be disapoinments but we need to work hard and overcome the. I understand the pain and sufferings and it's not going to be easy but all of it can be overcome with right help and will to overcome.

Uh. Suicides happened in past generations too, centuries ago as well.

They will keep happening but the peak rise in suicides for trivial reasons is seen more. A guy in my vicinity committed a suicide last year because his father couldn't afford to send him to darjeeling for a school trip. Suicide need not always have to be because of severe mental trauma, not everyone understands the importance of their life.

Also if we are mentally prepared for the disappointments, failures won't affect much. In upbringing we need to normalize failing, because it's okay to fail is all I was saying.
